When my guy came home he immediately said the Wybot reminded him of WALL·E. Of course now that’s all I saw when I put the Wybot in the pool. I very soon realized my pool was the beautiful but complicated EVE, and watching the Wybot navigate was like watching WALL·E doing his best to navigate all of EVE’s complexities. It kept trying, adapting, and finding its way around an unusually challenging pool.
So I have a very irregular pool, Freeform PebbleTec pools with rounded coves are pretty much the hardest environments for robotic cleaners to climb and clean. I have made peace with the fact I have to fill in where the vacuums can’t physically get to, and that my pool is an absolute Diva.
The real problem I have with most vacuums is they can’t think themselves out of a bad situation. All the weird angles and curves lead to places these vacuums will get stuck, and if they get stuck somewhere they will suck on that spot till the end of time as far as they’re concerned. So besides having one very clean spot, this really doesn’t do me much good. The Wybot does think itself out of a bad spot and tries something else, and that is absolutely what I need in my weirdly shaped pool situation.
I’ve watched it adapt to walls it almost falls down, get up walls that seem impossible, and get into sections using smarter angles which I was positive I’d have to clean myself. It will stop, think, and adapt much better than I thought a “mid-range” vacuum would.
I do not have a lot of debris in my pool. I live in the desert and have a lot of live and dead algae and white dust particles to deal with. Most of these issues are something that I usually need the sand in the filter to remove it from my pool. Problem is the filter won’t catch it if it’s all hanging out having a slime party at the bottom of my pool, so whatever this vacumn doesn’t catch in its basket (which is a surprisingly impressive amount), it at least shoots it up off the floor where the pool filter can get at it. It also dislodges the algae that is trying to grow, which honestly is the most important weapon against it.
Yes, we could do that ourselves, and we do, but 110 with the sun beating down on us is not within our convenience range.
What does the basket catch? So much gook! It was coated in some very thick slime the first round (oh did I mention the frogs?) and it kept on running. I thought the thickness of it alone would “choke” the machine, but it kept going. It was pretty full and didn’t leave much behind for the filter system.
It runs for about 2 hours with a ton of gook, which I assume is pushing it to its limit because of the flow being so restricted. It takes a short 2 1/2 hours for it to fully charge.
Getting to the waterline isn’t much of a concern for me, but it did get up there more often without the filter running, and on the S pattern setting. The filter running may affect the traction due to the flow of the return jets. My guess is it would work very well on a more normal pool.
Honestly the only frustration I have had is having a hard time seeing the light unless it’s on a wall coming towards me. Which honestly is a nothing-burger since I can look at it and see when it’s not moving anymore. Also it’s a bit difficult to get the clip where the basket is open. Pressing on the top a bit while unclipping it seems to help with this.
I forgot to mention the app! All I did was download it, open it, make an account, and when I went to add the machine it was right there waiting for me to choose it. It connects through Bluetooth. You program it while it’s sitting around getting charged (not in the water) and it remembers the program the app sent it. Blessedly simple. I have gotten into verbal arguments with inanimate objects trying to set them up and get them running. Not this guy, I chose my settings, the robot beeped in acknowledgment and I was done.
The “S pattern” worked very well for what I now call my “Eva the Diva”pool. The cross pattern setting is made for more boxy straight walled pools.

$400 does not feel overpriced. It’s performing exactly like a mid-tier robot should in a difficult pool, and if you are one of the lucky ones and have a more normal pool this machine will be an absolute rockstar.

I’ve been using the WYBOT B1 for a few weeks now, and it’s been a great addition to my pool routine. It was easy to get set up, and on the first run I was surprised by how much dirt and fine debris it picked up that I didn’t even realize was there.
It does a really good job cleaning the floor and climbing the walls, and I like that it’s cordless so I don’t have to deal with tangled hoses or cables. So far it has not gotten stuck in any positions and works non-stop. The battery lasts long enough to clean my pool, and the self-parking feature makes it easy to grab when it’s done.
Cleaning the filter is quick and simple, which is another plus. Overall, it’s saved me a lot of time, and my pool stays much cleaner with very little effort on my part. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable robotic pool cleaner. This vacuum is a great value for the money and definitely recommended!
I seem to be becoming a collector of these pool cleaning robots, I come into so many of them. These guys are great – the battery life on them is perfectly reasonable for what it's doing, the charge time is respectable, it's really good at cleaning without having to go back and do touch up work, and I'm still amazed at how well they stick to the walls when they're cleaning the sides of the pool.
The one thing I'll push back on is the "2026 new" part of the item description. I can functionally, materially, aesthetically, see very few difference from the "2025" model. Which is fine – I mean, how big can the advancements be in such a niche industry year over year. The only thing I see here is that they appear to have re-designed the track design, ostensibly to let it hug the floor of the pool better. In practice, I haven't detected any difference in capability from the 2025 model, though.
Now I know what a lot of you are thinking – you're looking at the price tag and you're spitting out your coffee, but think about it: My pool isn't even that large and I probably spend 45 minutes a week maintaining it. Our pool is open 5 months of the year. That's 22 weeks. Which means I spend about 17 hours a season just on cleaning. This thing gives me those 17 hours back. You can't put a price on time in general, but if you try to and put a value of even just $50 an hour on your time, this thing pays for itself in ONE YEAR.
Buy once, cry once. Just do it. And if you can spring an extra few bucks, the C2 w/ AI vision is even better.
Robot senza filo per la pulizia di piscine sia incassate che fuori terra di piccole dimensioni.
Nella parte frontale ci sono due spazzole frontali laterali per la pulizia di bordi, angoli e aree difficili da raggiungere.
Il robot è compatto e leggero, facile da estrarre una volta che ha finito di pulire, e facile da pulire dei residui raccolti.
L’autonomia è quella dichiarata di 100 minuti, anche se la mia piscina non è molto grande quindi ci ha messo un pò meno, ed è facile da ricaricare con il caricatore fornito.
Tutte le funzioni di pulizia e controllo si possono gestire tramite app.
L’ho trovato comodo ed efficace, sicuramente adatto ad una pulizia quotidiana, adesso ad inizio stagione l’ho dovuto far passare un pò di volte prima che riuscisse a pulire tutto, però dopo mesi di inutilizzo ci sta del lavoro in più.

De tamaño reducido y de unos 6.3 kg de peso. Libiano comparado con otros que he reseñado, lo cual facilita mucho su manejo al meterlo o sacarlo del agua.
Es el primer robot aspirador que reseño, con programación real y varios modos de limpieza, con un precio tan ajustado. Hace solo unos años, había que pederle el cariño, al doble como mínimo. Y muy pocos eran realmente programables, como este Wybot B1.
El fabricante lo clasifica para piscinas pequeñas. No se que tipo de piscinas tiene el personal. La que veis en las fotos, es de 10 metros por 6 de ancho. No la considero pequeña, la verdad. Con un modelo inferior a este, concretamente el A1 de la misma marca, tenía mas que suficiente. Es verdad, que no es tan sofisticado y potente como el modelo que estoy reseñando, pero el fondo de la piscina, lo deja impecable. Así que con este B1, por lógica voy sobrado.
También hay que tener en cuenta, que el B1 limpia también paredes y bordes, que son muchos mas metros a añadir, pero al ser un modelo "inteligente", no pasa 2 veces por el mismo sitio. Además avanza relativanente rápido y al menos en mi caso, no hace falta limpiar todas las veces, el borde y las paredes.
Lleva dos rodillos limpiadores, en la parte delantera, al estilo de las aspiradoras de escoba, que sirven para fregar eficazmente las esquinas y los bordes donde el suelo se une con la pared.
Me ha sorprendido, al igual que otros modelos de la marca, que a pesar de su tamaño, es rápido. No es como otro robot que tengo, en este caso de cable, mas grande de tipo oruga que es desesperante observarlo, y que por cierto costó una pasta. Este B1, se desplaza con cierta rápidez por el fondo, y por los laterales.
La batería de 2600 mAh, ofrece una autonomía de 100 a 120 minutos máximo. Tiempo mas que suficiente, para barrer completamente, una piscina de 50 o 60 m2, como la que véis en mis fotos.
La cesta de residuos, de 2 litros está conformada con un filtro de 180 micras. Retiene particulas muy pequeñas, como tierra, arena gruesa y semillas de los árboles. Pero no cuenta con un filtro ultrafino, tipo hepa, en zig zag, por lo que no recogerá polvo, o arena muy fina, micro algas, ni las nano-particulas que enturbian el agua. Igual que el que tengo de cable, vaya, que tampoco hace nada de eso…Tampoco un robot de este tipo, está diseñado para eso.
Se enlaza por Bluetooth con el teléfono, pero no por WiFi. La app es gráfica e intuitiva. No te va a plantear problemas. Es, para que os hagáis una idea, muy similar a enlazar un smartwatch con el teléfono. Y os aseguro, que yo le temo a esto de las apps, mas que a una mudanza. Pero nada…ha sido muy simple. Solo descargar mediante QR, buscar el robot y elegir el modo de limpieza automático…Todo muy gráfico e intuitivo. En 2 minutos, limpiando.
Y también puedes complicarte todo lo que quieras….
Modo Suelo, Modo Pared, o una combinación de ambos, mas la limpeza de la línea de superficie o flotación, que ya sabéis que es donde se forma esa desagradable franja oscura, difícil e incómoda de eliminar procedente de las cremas y suciedad flotante de la superficie. Puedes elegir tipo de fondo de piscina, plano, inclinado, con escalones, incluso el material gresite, hormigón, o fibra, también…la forma de la piscina, rectangular o sin forma, o círculo….modo eco, limpieza rápida, hora de limpieza, modo avanzado donde eliges patrones de desplazamiento….una pasada.
En el Modo Suelo, se desplaza rápido por el fondo y gracias a su sistema de 3 motores, pasa por encima de rejillas y desagües sin alterar apenas su trayectoria, y mucho menos quedarse atascado. Durante todo el trayecto, las ruedas impulsoras, que ademas son rodillos limpiadores laterales, limpian activamente los rincones y bordes. Además de los rodillos frontales, tiene también otro, justo antes de la entrada de succión, que como sabéis, tiene una gran potencia, nada común en robots de este segmento de precio. Según Wybot 11.500 litros a la hora.
En el Modo Pared sorprende su capacidad para escalar paredes rectas hasta llegar a la superficie. Con unos curiosos movimientos, limpia y friega de forma contundente, la línea de flotación del agua. Se mueve de pared a pared, trazando un patrón de navegación en forma de "N" consecutivas.
También tiene sus aspectos negativos.
Aunque no es determinante, al menos para mi, la dependencia casi total de la app, penaliza a este B1. Hay gente que con razón, no soporta la dichosa manía de los fabricantes, de conectar todo al móvil. Con lo fácil y barato que es, colocar un simple mando a distancia como opción.
El panel físico del robot, para mi, es lo peor. Solo tiene un botón de encendido y una luz, sin iconos, ni texto, ni nada de nada, encargada de indicarte, cuando ha terminado la carga, y cuando está crítico de batería. Y para colmo, no se ve a pleno sol.
Para saber qué modo de limpieza estás usando o para cambiarlo, es necesario utilizar la aplicación móvil. Es un detalle feo que supongo corregirán en modelos futuros. Un panel un pelín mas completo, señores de Wybot.
No puedes programarlo para que limpie ciertos días de la semana de forma automática. Solo cargarlo y encenderlo manualmente cada vez que desees usarlo. Pero esto es una exigencia quizas, que no corresponde a un robot de este segmento de precio, y que para mi, sinceramente, absurda. Nadie deja el robot permanentemente en el agua.
Tampoco tiene el sensor de agua, por lo tanto, si lo sacas de la piscina mientras está encendido, el robot seguirá moviendo sus ruedas, hasta que lo apagues manualmente.
Son detalles a mejorar, pero que ninguno de ellos es una tragedia, vaya…nada realmente importante.
Eso si…no se si será cosa de mi unidad, pero me ha costado muchísimo abrir la puerta superior para limpiar el filtro. Eso me ha fastidiado bastante porque al forzar el pestillo, temía romperlo.
El Wybot B1 es una opción magnífica si buscas un aparato inteligente, sin el engorro del cable, y económico para tu piscina particular, (no la del club o la urbanización) y no necesitas gastar de más, en funciones y programaciones complicadas, o en una tecnología premium, que al final se traduce poco o nada en una limpieza mas efectiva.
Wybot B1 Poolsauger-Roboter – Meine Erfahrungen
Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, den Wybot B1 Poolsauger-Roboter über mehrere Wochen zu testen. Da ich bereits Erfahrungen mit anderen Geräten des Herstellers Wybot gesammelt habe – sowohl positive als auch weniger positive –, möchte ich zunächst auf einen Punkt eingehen, der für mich besonders wichtig ist: den Kundenservice.
Der Service von Wybot ist aus meiner Sicht erstklassig. Rückmeldungen erfolgen in der Regel noch am selben Tag oder spätestens innerhalb von 24 Stunden. Die Kommunikation ist unkompliziert und lösungsorientiert. Sollte ein Defekt auftreten, wird meist lediglich ein kurzes Video zur Dokumentation angefordert. Anschließend erfolgt die Abwicklung schnell und ohne langwierige Diskussionen.
Kommen wir nun zum Wybot B1 selbst. Optisch macht der Roboter einen sehr hochwertigen und modernen Eindruck. Meiner Meinung nach eignet er sich besonders gut für kleinere Pools mit einer Größe von etwa 4 x 3 Metern.
Im Betrieb arbeitet der B1 strategisch und reinigt den Pool zuverlässig. Im Vergleich zu kabelgebundenen Poolsaugern ist mir jedoch aufgefallen, dass die Saugleistung naturgemäß etwas geringer ausfällt. Dieses Verhalten kenne ich allerdings auch von anderen akkubetriebenen Modellen.
Sobald der Filterkorb leicht zugesetzt ist, kann der Roboter Auftrieb entwickeln. Dann wird die Vorderseite angehoben, wodurch die Reinigungsleistung deutlich nachlässt. Bei Pools mit viel Sand oder Schmutz kann dies bereits nach wenigen Minuten passieren. Anfangs hielt ich dieses Verhalten sogar für einen Defekt. Tatsächlich lag das Problem jedoch daran, dass der Filterkorb bereits verstopft war. Da ich dieses Verhalten von meinen früheren kabelgebundenen Poolrobotern nicht kannte, schickte ich ein Video an den Support. Dort wurde zunächst vermutet, dass die Pumpe defekt sei. Im Nachhinein stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass lediglich der Filterkorb gereinigt werden musste. Das zeigt aber auch, wie unkompliziert der Service reagiert und versucht zu helfen.
Verbesserungspotenzial sehe ich bei der Filterausstattung. Ein zusätzlicher, gröberer Filterkorb oder austauschbare Filtereinsätze wären aus meiner Sicht sinnvoll. Von meinem früheren kabelgebundenen Dolphin-Poolroboter kenne ich dieses System bereits und habe damit sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Ein grober Filter könnte bei stark verschmutzten Pools eingesetzt werden, während der Feinfilter anschließend für die Endreinigung genutzt wird.
Abgesehen davon erfüllt der Wybot B1 seine Aufgabe sehr gut. Während der gesamten Testphase sind keine Probleme aufgetreten. Der Roboter sieht hochwertig aus, arbeitet systematisch und sorgt für ein sauberes Reinigungsergebnis.
Als Randnotiz möchte ich noch meine Erfahrungen mit dem Wybot C1 erwähnen. Diese stehen zwar nicht in direktem Zusammenhang mit dem hier bewerteten B1, könnten für Interessenten aber dennoch relevant sein.
Den C1 hatte ich regulär gekauft und nicht als Testgerät erhalten. Im Laufe der Zeit erhielt ich insgesamt drei Geräte. Nach dem ersten Austausch stellte sich später heraus, dass der vermeintliche Defekt auf einen von mir übersehenen, verstopften Filterkorb zurückzuführen war. Die weiteren Geräte zeigten allerdings tatsächlich einen Akkufehler. Sowohl das zweite als auch das dritte Gerät entwickelten nach einigen Wochen Nutzung denselben Defekt. Das war natürlich etwas auffällig und hat bei mir Fragen hinsichtlich der Langzeitzuverlässigkeit aufgeworfen.
Was ich jedoch besonders hervorheben möchte: Der Kundenservice war in jedem einzelnen Fall vorbildlich. Die Probleme wurden schnell bearbeitet, und man bot mir sogar an, ein viertes Austauschgerät zuzusenden. Eine derart unkomplizierte und kundenfreundliche Abwicklung habe ich bislang nur selten erlebt.
Wichtig ist mir dabei die Einordnung: Diese Erfahrungen beziehen sich ausschließlich auf den C1. Beim hier getesteten Wybot B1 hatte ich während des gesamten Testzeitraums keinerlei technische Probleme oder Ausfälle.
Fazit
Der Wybot B1 ist ein optisch ansprechender und zuverlässig arbeitender Poolsauger-Roboter, der insbesondere für kleinere Pools eine gute Wahl darstellt. Die strategische Fahrweise funktioniert gut, die Reinigungsleistung überzeugt und während meines Tests gab es keinerlei Beanstandungen.
Kleinere Verbesserungen bei der Filterlösung wären aus meiner Sicht wünschenswert. Dem gegenüber steht jedoch ein außergewöhnlich guter Kundenservice, der schnell, unkompliziert und lösungsorientiert arbeitet.
Insgesamt kann ich den Wybot B1 daher guten Gewissens empfehlen.
Wir haben nun schon einige Poolroboter, sowohl in unserem kleinen Pool mit ca. 6 m² als auch im größeren Pool mit ca. 32 m² eines Bekannten getestet.
Zuerst einige 2024er Modelle anderer Hersteller der 200-300 € Klasse. Alle "dumme" Strahlgetriebene Roboter, die in einer Kurvenbahn fahren, bis sie an eine Wand stoßen und gerade in die entgegengesetzte Richtung fahren. Während diese Roboter es im großen Pool schaffen etwa 90 % des Drecks in einer Tour zu entfernen, gelingt das im Kleinen Pool nur Bedingt: Sand und alle schweren Schmutzpartikel werden aufgesaugt. Blüten und Blätter werden durch den Fahrstrahl aufgewirbelt und sinken nach dem Einsatz des Roboters wieder zum Boden, so dass das Ergebnis sehr unbefriedigend aussieht. Zudem fließt beim Entnehmen dieser Roboter mit dem enthaltenen Wasser auch ein Teil des aufgesaugten Drecks zurück in den Pool. Bei allen "dummen" Robotern muss man die Leiter entfernen oder anheben, damit er sich nicht festfährt.
Eine deutliche Verbesserung brachte dann der 2025er Weybot A1 (Preis derzeit 195 €). Der hatte einen doppelten Filter, so dass alle aufgesaugten Partikel auch beim Entnehmen des Roboters aus dem Pool auch wirklich drin blieben. Außerdem gelang es bei gleichzeitigem Einsatz mit dem Schimmer den hoch aufgewirbelten Dreck von der Oberfläche abzusaugen. Toll ist vor allem für den kleinen Pool, dass Arbeitszyklen eingestellt werden können, so dass der Roboter täglich jeweils 30 Minuten im Einsatz ist. Die Gesamtlaufzeit beträgt 120 Minuten. So muss man sich nicht mehr täglich um ihn kümmern und nur alle paar Tage zum Nachladen entnehmen und jedes 2. oder 3. Mal den Dreck entleeren.
Da ich einen oberirdischen Stahlwand-Pool habe fahren alle stahlgetriebenen Roboter mit einem deutlich vermerkbaren Rums gegen die Wand. Bei anderen Bauarten ist das nicht so vernehmbar.
Eine signifikante Verbesserung brachte dann der 2025er Wybot C2 Vision AI (derzeit 720 €). Raupengetrieben wirbelt er keinen Dreck auf. Gesteuert von der AI Kamera hat er meinen kleinen Pool innerhalb von weniger als 10 min sauber. Einziges Verbesserungspotenzial wäre ein frei programmierbarer Zyklustimer, dann könnte ich noch länger kürzere Zyklen fahren lassen. Die Gesamtlaufzeit beträgt 180 Minuten. Das Reinigen der Beckenwand klappt im runden Pool nicht zu 100 %, die meisten an der Wasserlinie haftenden Blätter und Insekten werden erwischt. Im Rechteckpool ist das Ergebnis fast perfekt.
Dank der AI Kamera hatte er sich auch kein einziges mal mit der Pool Leiter verhakt.
Der 2026er Wybot C2 (derzeit ca. 600 €) fehlt zum vorgenannten die AI Kamera. Er fährt den Pool nach Muster ab.
Dass klappt recht ordentlich.
Das Ergebnis weicht nicht oder nur vom C2 Vision AI ab.
Da er nicht nach Dreck sucht, sondern ein programmiertes Muster abfährt, braucht er etwa 2-3 mal so lang bis das Reinigungsergebis vom Vision AI erreicht ist. Der Vision AI kann den Vorteil aber nicht nutzen weil bei beiden Robotern 30 Minuten als kürzeste Zyklusdauer erlauben. Die Gesamtlaufzeit beträgt 180 Minuten.
Allerdings man muss aber die Leiter entnehmen oder anheben, damit er sich nicht festfährt.
Soweit meine Erfahrung mit den bereits vorher getesteten Robotern. Nun zum 2026er WYBOT B1 (derzeit ca. 380 €):
Der B1 hat einen Rad- statt Raupenantrieb. Da konnte ich bisher keinen Unterschied feststellen. Eventuell ist das bei Stufen oder Steigungen im Poolboden ein Nachteil, das kann ich aber nicht Testen. Die Gesamtlaufzeit beträgt 100 Minuten. Das ist nicht schlimm, während der Zykluszeit schafft er ein ordentliches Ergebnis. Als einziger hat er jedoch ein Problem mit einer minimalen Nut im Poolboden (siehe Fotos). Der größte Nachteil zu den anderen Wybot Modellen aus meiner Sicht ist der fehlende Zyklus-Timer => er fährt seine ca. 100 Minuten und muss dann Nachgeladen werden. Im größere Pool ist das vermutlich egal, weil er eben so lange braucht bis er fertig ist. Bei meinem kleinen Pool habe ich mich aber daran gewöhnt, mich nur 1-2 Mal in der Woche um den Pool kümmern zu müssen und trotzdem jeden Tag einen sauberen Pool zu haben.
Generell funktionieren alle WYBOT Poolroboter wie angegeben. Alle fahren bis heute zuverlässig Ihre Einsätze von 5 bis über 30 Grad Wassertemperatur.
