A great customizable solution

5 out of 5 stars

A great customizable solution
The switch works great, and the ability to mount it to the wall cleanly is a huge plus. Note, if you take the back plate off the wall bracket, you can just mount it using Velcro command strips. The installation looks and feels like it’s screwed to the wall, but removal is a breeze. I will be buying more.

These switches are so simple but I’ve not found anything quite like them, they pair instantly to home assistant and they just work. I can’t speak to the usability of the official app, but with HA they give you plenty of control options for automations or accessories. The buttons are quiet and not very tactile but they do make a pleasant click sound and it doesn’t feel cheap, my only complaint would be the magnets that hold the switch into the wall plate are a bit weak, and while it won’t fall out, it does slide around a bit within the fixture. I bought one of these a while ago and when I had use for another wireless switch I came right back because I’ve been entirely satisfied.

Was easy to pair with home assistant and was able to easily create automations based on the button press and double press. The button hold only sends after you release the button so you aren’t really sure how long to hold it to achieve the desired result. But otherwise works as expected. Have considered getting more. Only had it a short time, but I hope it has longevity.

This has been a great addition to my Zigbee mesh I've been building in our new home. This works pretty well with Home Assistant and haven't had any issues getting the Single/Double button functions set up. The "Hold" trigger seems to be a bit finnicky, Home Assistant doesn't seem to pick up the hold trigger until after you let go of the button. May take some more poking around to get working, but definitely love the product outside of that so far! Also looks very sleek and minimalistic on my wall, very sturdy and doesn't feel cheap.

I am loving this button for light control! I am a long time user of smart home devices, and this one makes it easier for my guests (AKA older parents) when they are staying at my house. All they have to do is hit a button, and the lights will come on or off so they don't have to use Alexa and remember what names I have for all the light groups to control them by voice. The remote that stores in the wall mountable face plate is easily removed for them to bring to wherever they want to put it for easy access when they need it. I used my label maker to tell them which button controls what lights, and put them on each button for easy use. The only downfall is that you can only pair the buttons with light bulbs that are controlled by the SmartLife app. I am currently switching out the bulbs in rooms I want controlled with this button with ones that work with both SmartLife and Alexa voice control, and have had a couple hiccups getting both to be compatible, but that is no fault of this button switch-it seems to be the easy part of this configuration. A+ for this item from me!

Really nice device. At first, I set it up with SmartThings, but the battery drained very quickly—about a week with good brand batteries and only 3 days with cheap ones, even with very light use (less than 5 presses a day). I switched it over to Home Assistant with Zigbee2MQTT, and now it works perfectly. Even the cheap batteries are lasting around 3 weeks so far and still going. If you’re using Zigbee2MQTT, you’ll need the blueprint by rdeangel to get it set up properly.

The button itself locked down to its own Tuya related ecosystem. Seems like it won't work with any hubs outside from it.
The button itself also feels very cheaply made.

    TL;DR
I bought this scene switch thinking it would work with my Echo Hub (Zigbee/Tuya compatible), but I couldn’t get it to connect at all. Even the manufacturer’s app couldn’t find it. As someone who’s pretty tech-savvy, this was a letdown.

    Why I Got This Product
I was looking for a simple physical scene switch that could trigger Amazon Alexa routines. I specifically ordered it assuming compatibility with the Zigbee or Tuya standard since my Echo Hub was built for that.

    First Impressions & Setup
The switch itself seemed fine out of the box, but everything fell apart during setup. Neither Alexa nor the manufacturer’s app could discover it, no matter what troubleshooting steps I tried.

    Performance & Features
None—because I couldn’t even get it connected. It became basically useless to me.

    Comparison or Expectations
Compared to other smart home products I’ve used, this one was a major miss. Most Zigbee or Tuya-based devices are at least discoverable, but this one didn’t even show up.

Final Thoughts & Who It’s For
Unless you know for sure that your system supports this specific model or have a gateway it’s verified to work with, I’d steer clear. I’ll be looking for a more reliable option that clearly supports Echo Hub integration

Zemismart support is ghosting me! There are two versions of this switch in the wild, one that supports hold to dim, and the other that you press and hold and after 4 seconds it triggers a long press. This version is the latter. Other that that peeve of not being able to hold to dim the lights, its a decent device. I like the wall plate very much and the buttons are satisfying to press. I wish there were some stickers or a way to better differentiate the 4 buttons. On the wall its easy enough, when you take it with you its hard to tell up from down. I am using it with zigbee mqtt and home assistant.
