Easy to set up and works well for small spaces
I’m very happy with this DIY alarm system. Setup was simple: just stick the sensors with double-sided tape, connect through the TUYA app, and you’re done. All the included sensors are preprogrammed, and the kit comes with 3 remotes, an SOS button, window/door sensors, and motion sensors. It doesn’t require monthly fees or services, which is a big plus. The alarm sound could be louder in my opinion, but it works well for what I need. I’m using it on my outdoor shed, though I think it’s best suited for apartments or small townhouses. The included "brain" which is the siren, has a built-in battery that might be good for around 4 hours of a power outage. The size is small and discrete.

    Using this for our home and it really does include everything: hub, 10 door/window sensors, five motion sensors, three remotes, and an SOS fob. It took about an hour solo; the peel-and-stick sensors paired quickly and I named each zone in the app so alerts read clearly. The siren is loud and push alerts hit my phone fast. I like quick arm/disarm from the remotes and using Alexa for “Away” as I’m heading out. It’s 2.4 GHz wi-fi only, so double-check your router. The notes mention phone-call alerts require an extra fee, which I skipped. Does the job well and I highly recommend it.

    Herevis an update: Changed my 2 star review to a 4. Put gorilla velcro on the door pieces and stick out enough to connect. If ai fiddle with it, it might. No one to connect to from Amazon. This is a decent system. After a couple youtubes it is easy to install and setup. I like being able to use Alexa to enable and disable. Would be nice to have a piece to conform to the curves in molding. It does work well for my needs and is easy to use.

    Completely unclear instructions. My English is not perfect, but I tried to understand in the applications, I downloaded both of the suggested. It is completely unclear from that small booklet how all the parts of the alarm work. Alas. Perhaps the alarm itself is excellent, but I will definitely not know this, because I will return it back.

    I have a small home, so this alarm system was great for it. Usually, I ask my husband to put products together, but I did this one myself.
    I was finished in no time and hooked it up to my Alexa. I love the motion sensor, but the best part is that it doesn't require subscription fees.
    The alarm was loud. My neighbors live within fifty feet of the side of my house, and they heard when I tested it.
    I feel much safer with this product in my home.

    A basic kit that works with the Tuya Smart App. Using the Tuya app you can integrate the security system in with your Google Home Smart Home. I live in a small apartment, and used it with My front door and placed the motion sensor in the main living room area which covers the front door and sliding glass door. Through My testing the system worked well although it did have a slight delay of about 20 seconds between when the door sensor was triggered and when the alarm sounded. Regardless it works, and I am happy with it.
