    These are pretty good little snippers. The clippers themselves are pretty strong, precise and sharp. The strippers work pretty well. They have a pretty good feel in the hand. The strange thing is that they don't have a lock to lock them shut. They did include a cable tie, so maybe they want you to use the cable tie to keep it closed? They are so inexpensive that it is probably not a deal breaker that you have to use the cable tie as a lock though.

    They arrived right on time, clean, no rust, smooth cutting/stripping action, surprisingly great spring tension, very sharp cutter head. These are perfect to use in working on electronics and PC boards. I think it would be ok to use these to strip 10 & 12 gauge wire. I would absolutely NOT use these to cut solid or heavy gauge wire like a standard gauge power cord. these are definitely for work with smaller gauged wire
