Update after talking with customer service: They reached out to me and told me about my 2 year warranty and they sent me a replacement. In my 15 years with Amazon, I’ve never had a seller reach out to me to help resolve my complaint. I love this product and I love it more that customer service helped me. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 3-month update: Fan no longer works… I will try to reach out to the seller if it’s possible to get a replacement. Really did love this accessory since it kept my face cool and prevented my prescription lens from fogging. Initial 1-week review: I do TotF as my everyday workout, Monday to Friday. Nonstop fighting all the boxers in Easy mode, straight to Normal mode. And what I hated the most was foggy lenses. THIS made me love TotF and my Quest 2 even more. One of the best purchases I made to my headset.

    Best facial interface I have tried

    When the 'facial interface' that came with my Oculus 2 wore out, I tried a number of different solutions. FIrst I tried a silicone cushion cover. That was hot, sweaty and uncomfortable. Then I bought a "cooling' face pad that theoretically was compatible with Oculus 2. It was not. It wouldn't 'snap' onto the Oculus and forced the headset into a position where I couldn't maintain focus without cranking the headstrap uncomfortably tight.

    While I just got this cover with fan today, it clipped right in and I easily found a comfortable position on my face. The leather covering was much better than the standard neoprene or latex. A quick charge let me use it for an hour, with the fan on intermittent mode. The headset remained comfortable and I never got warm. As advertised, the fan doesn't blow on your eyes and, while it can be heard, the sound is quite low. After a few minutes, I only heard it if I stopped and listened.

    The only downside is there doesn't seem any obvious way to charge the fan WITH my Oculus. It needs a separate type-C charger. I'll work on that.

    I am an E+ high level beat saber player. Lens fogging has been a frustration for years. This product is fantastic. The fan is quiet, but effective. My lenses do not fog anymore. The bit of airflow feels really good inside the headset, too. I don't realize how hot it is without it until I turn it off for a second. The face pad is also very comfortable and doesn't leak any light.

    At this price it's a no brainer. I am confident you will be happy with this purchase.

    So, first things first. The fan is just about worthless. It barely moves any air and you can't really feel it. It does slightly help with glasses steaming up so thats a slight positive. However, I am keeping it because the piece that goes on your face is SO much more comfortable that what's on the original. It balances the weight out well. I also paired it with a comfort strap and battery pack and it makes gaming much more enjoyable. I even bought one for my son as well.

    So don't buy it because you think the fan will cool you off because it won't, but if you want a more comfortable face piece, take a look at it.

    The fan keeps my lens from fogging and helps with sweat during spirited games. The cushion is top notch as well. Even if it didn’t come with a fan the cushion is worth it for the price. My forehead would get really dried out after playing for a few hours and this fixed all my issues. Only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t work with my mounted headphones so I had to change those out, otherwise I have zero complaints.

    Just got the facial cover with fan today tried it out under sweating conditions and I have to say I'm not sold on it. The unit as a whole is fairly confortable and it does seem to keep fogging down but as far as cooling and airflow it is almost nonexistent. I bought one of these because I saw the word "cooling". The only air I really feel in in my nostrils. So maybe if you have problems breathing in a vr headset this could possibly help, but if you want cooling, I would look elsewhere. Bottom line is I still sweat as much as without this product

    Time will tell how long and durable this is. But so far. It's crazy good. It makes the quest usable! The lens used to fog up all the time and I stopped using it cause I couldn't freaking see! Now I can use it for an hour of supernatural or beat saber without worrying about the fog! You do need to be aware that it's blowing air into your eyes though, so make sure to have eye drops and blink consistently. But it's still better than have foggy lens!
