    We bought this to replace our Samsung remote for our 85 inch tv. It is 4 years old. Initially, this remote worked great. Then it started saying "You need to redo the pairing" or words to that effect. Then it started getting slower and slower. Multiple batteries were replaced. It's been a rough road. Now, It is difficult to press the buttons; you have to reset it often by removing the batteries. It is slow to respond and we get so frustrated trying to make swift changes with our remote that we decided to repurchase a Samsung Brand, replacement. No more generic / off brand. 🙂

    I often have to push the buttons repeatedly before anything happens. It's still an improvement over the one that came with my TV; one of its directional buttons didn't work at all.
    However, the Netflix button somehow freezes the app on my TV so badly that it won't work until I delete and reinstall it. It's bizarre. The remote is functional without that button, if annoying.
