    I was a little skeptical about purchasing this, seeing that it just sits on top of the tv. I was completely wrong. It's sturdy and fits perfect on top. It holds the weight of the sound bar and comes with a grippy pad that is the size of the shelf, to keep the sound bar from sliding. I own a lot of VIVO products for my computer but seeing them create something for the tv sound bar, it is the best decision we made in purchasing it.     I tried a hidden bracket to mount behind the tv first and was having issues using my remote. I decided to try this. It's very easy to install. It seems sturdy for my purposes (cable box). I've just had to play with the cables to ensure it doesn't tug when I pull out my tv (moveable mount). But this works well and no more frustrations trying to walk around to get my remote to work!
