Smart bulbs are certainly cool. And whether you have an Alexa or Google hub or just wanna use the app on your cell phone it's entertaining to be able to not only turn the lights on and off but change their color as well. There are a few things that I consider when picking a smart bulb. The wattage on these bulbs are just 5 so they're not going to be very very bright. The whites and more importantly the range of whites. This bulb does white and it also does different hues of white. And while the color range is fun and entertaining, the most useful colors are going to be the range of whites. Another good thing that this bulb provides is stamped right on the bulb. The app it supports, the bulbs wattage and other useful information is right on the bulb. That will come in handy in the future. With all those pluses, I think this set of bulbs is still incredibly expensive. That and the fact that there is no warranty other than the 30 Day return window does not set well with me.
You're going to get the most flexibility out of these bulbs using the app that controls it. You want to use your Alexa hub for example you're gonna get about 50% of the features. The colors will be limited and some features won't be available.
