Solid and Easy to Use.
The first thing I noticed about this jack was the nice case that it comes in. The case is well laid out for storage of the jack and its' accessories. It also has locking clasps that keep it firmly closed. The jack itself has some good heft to it and appears to be very well made. The accessories are also good quality and plentiful. Even gloves are provided to keep those hands clean. There are two different saddles provided to fit different applications. If you lose power after the jack is in the up position, a small plastic crank is provided that can lower the jack. I didn't try the plastic crank and so cannot comment on how well it works. Electrical connectors are provided for either direct battery connection or a cigarette lighter plug connection. A Buick Lacrosse was used in my test of the jack. Not a light car, but well within the lifting capacity of the jack. For convenience, I used the cigarette lighter plug for power (instructions recommend using a battery connection). The write-up on the jack on the Amazon web page says to set up the jack parallel to the car, which made some sense to me since the vehicle would be less likely to "rock" off the jack. However, the instructions (and other info on the website) state to set the jack up perpendicular to the car, the way a hand-cranked jack would have to be set up. Right or wrong I set up the jack parallel to the car for my test. As the attached video shows, the jack handled it easily, raising the car up enough so that the tire was about 1 inch off the ground. The total time to raise and lower the vehicle was less than one minute. I am very pleased with this jack and would definitely recommend it.

It is big enough to lift a good sized car in order to change a tire and is the perfect size for a golf cart.     Used this for the first time when I was changing shocks in my Chevy Express 3500 (1 ton). Lifted the vehicle with ease. You do have to thoroughly retract to get it back in the case, which is kind of a bummer. This is one I will keep in the vehicle. The hand crank is ridiculously slow. This does work well enough off the starter battery, and you could certainly leave your vehicle running if you're concerned about running your battery down. Overall, A nice upgrade from a stock jack. Used a few more times after writing this review and continues to work well.
