Good for High Speed Golf Video
Well for the money the camera is a pretty good value*. Did you notice the asterisk? I am new at golf and I'm pretty bad. I'm taking lessons but in between lessons I practice, but without the cool tools my coach has I had no idea what was happening at the business end of my swing, just the results, push fade, push slice etc. I searched for high speed video cameras and discovered plenty. This camera is the best of the affordable cameras I found, and I've tried many! The instructions that come with the camera are not helpful, at all. They are USB cameras so connecting them to your PC is easy. You can view them using the Windows 11 Camera app, but that's not going to help you much. I tested these with Swing Catalyst and Kinovea, and settled on Kinovea to record and playback golf swing video. These cameras have limited settings to control the quality of your video, but they have enough. The key to getting to getting good slow motion video is INSTENSE light. I have about 21,000 Lux at the ball, I wear a hat practicing! At that level I can set the "Exposure Setting" to the lowest level. There is no "Shutter Speed" so "Exposure" controls your shutter speed indirectly. When "Exposure" is set to "Auto" the camera will pick what it thinks is best, you won't like the results! The video will be bright, but there will be a lot of blur of the shaft, club head, and ball. You must set the Exposure at the lowest level, and then adjust "Gain", "Gamma", and "Brightness" to get the best results. I'm getting 259 fps and I'm happy with the results. The best lighting results are from constant output LED lights, overhead, from behind the camera, and from all sides of the ball. My experience is spot lighting is your friend, flood lighting only causes the projector screen getting washed out from reflections. I can share the lighting I used. The major reason for the asterisk is the reliability, I've had one camera die, it was replaced quickly, but it's disappointing all the same.

Works with Uneekor Eye Mini & View golf launch monitor/software. I'm using an 18k LED portable work site light to provide the lighting, and while the LEDs have a strobe like effect when viewed on the monitor, they allow for good enough frame by frame image quality for iron swings in the mid-80s mph range.

These instructions ftom Uneekor tech support helped me activate thes cameras:

    (1) Open the VIEW software and log into your profile. (2) Go to the Swing page. (3) Click the Setting button in the top-right. (4) Select your webcam(s) from the top drop-down list(s). (5) Configure the webcam resolution(s) from the bottom drop-down list(s). (6) Change the rotation (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) of the webcam(s), as well as the H Flip or V Flip if the webcam view is horizontally flipped or upside-down, respectively. (7) Click Close to save your changes.

Overall a good product at a nice price that has really helped my golf swing.

Color: 260fps USB Camera with 2.8-12mm Zoom LensVerified Purchase

While this camera is capable of capturing a golf swing with no blurred frames, it requires a lot of light and setting to 260 FPS (frames per second). What most don't understand is that a run of the mill golf swing is about 75 MPH. Simple math conversion yields 1320 inches per second equals 75 MPH. So a 260 FPS camera speed yields 5.08 inches per frame. This means that something moving, (like a golf club face) traveling at 75 MPH; the camera will take pictures of the movement every 5.08 inches. Faster swings mean the more distance between each image. The significance of this is that a camera of this speed will not be able to capture an image exactly where you want it (for example at impact with the golf ball) The best you can expect with software such as Kinovea is expecting a frame capture that is within 5 inches of impact. Randomly you will get a capture that aligns with impact. Faster swings and the distance between captures will be greater. A typical 60 FPS camera captures every 22 inches of a 75 MPH swing. So watching slowmotion frame by frame you can expect to see a non-blurry image if you get the other camera settings set appropriately, but just expect each image of your swing in 5 inch increments at the example 75 MPH swing speed. (You may not be able to capture the exact point of your swing you wish to view; it will be within 5 inches; sometimes the camera will capture frames that line up with what point in the swing you are interested, but it will be random.) Much higher priced golf simulators that use embedded cameras are much faster than 260FPS to get the distance between images much smaller to detect actual impact. This is a good camera to capture your golf swing, you need a lot of light and the correct settings to get clear frames, but keep in mind of the distance between frames of fast moving targets. Worth the money if you understand what you are buying.

I ordered two of these because I needed a cheap slow motion camera. The listing says it shoots 260fps, unfortunately, there's zero option to do that. There's no included software, and after endlessly searching online, it looks like the only software they do offer is just for PC – which is pretty misleading since it says right there in the description it's os compatible. (It technically is, you just have no control over it.) I've reached out to customer service here and on the ELP site. No response.

The manual they give you is worthless. It just tells you to use Quicktime or VLC or OBS, but I've tried them all and NONE of them let you control the shutter speed. And if you think about it a little harder, how could they even?

Also, the video quality is not good. From what I can tell "Ifwater" just buys parts and slaps them together. The two cameras I received had drastically different quality. One was sort of clear, the other had roving lines going up and down like when you shoot a monitor. Nearly useless in low light, so grab your ring lights! What a pain. I even bought two little tripods for them. Thanks for nothing, Ifwater, IF that is your real name.
