Great Smart Bulbs
I got these specific smart bulbs because they are able to communicate via bluetooth in addition to WIFI. The app is well thought out to control this bulb in every conceivable way (i.e. color, brightness, time, schedule, ramp up, grouping), and still very easy to use. I would have to say that it isn't obvious how to control via bluetooth (once connected via wifi, once it loses wifi it will automatically communicate via bluetooth, even though it will not show up in your bluetooth devices). Admittedly most people will simply connect via WIFI and that is a simple process. I wanted a bulb to wake me up in a windowless room that doesn't have a router, slowly over 15 min – sort of like a simulated sunrise so I don't wake up sleepy. It works great for that. You can create any color of light you want and brightness seems to be somewhere starting between 10 to 20% (the description says it can go all the way down to 1%, but I have not found that to be true)

    App and bulbs don't work right

    I hooked up two bulbs. needs Wi-Fi to work with the app. Can't get them to change color or dim because they're constantly offline. When I reset them it still wont work according to their directions. The router is less than 10 feet from one of them and less than 15 feet from the other one. Also some of the instructions are in broken English so I think I do this or this first? I can't get the light to come online after about 20 minutes of trying. I should have known anything that says smart on it is the opposite.

    These are very similar to other LED bulbs out there, except they are not readily available to the hub apps – you have to use the company's own app and then connect it to your hub. Once you do it it isn't that big of a deal. It would be annoying to have to troubleshoot multiple apps so if you are replacing the majority with these then it works better. Other than that, the bulbs are easy to connect and change the color/depth/warmth/brightness via the commands. For the price these are great entry level smartbulbs.

    I love smart home technology. When I was a kid I dreamed of voice-controlled lights and gadgets, especially when it was late and I forgot to turn off a light. Once this tech hit the mainstream I adoped it. I'm spoiled now, and when I'm visiting places with physical switches I find myself confused. I didn't have my whole house outfitted with smart bulbs but that's my goal so I've been stocking up on bulbs. When I saw this listing I had to try them.

    They arrived in a nice box and contained all four bulbs.

    Setup wasn't too difficult. Download the app, screw in the bulb, follow the instructions. They all paired on the first try.

    These are nice bulbs! They linked to our Alexa right away and I've been able to control them through our Alexa dots. I don't mess with the color adjustment much but I really like the warm white lights these offer. They're responsive, and when I flip the switch off and on they don't lose their programming (though I haven't left them powered off for any duration).

    Overall I'm happy with these bulbs. They pair quickly to the app, respond quickly to commands, and have the option for warm white lights.
