    I ordered this travel power strip after a couple of trips where power outlets were either not accessible or were not convenient to the bedside for charging phones, hearing aids, etc. I prefer black technology but we decided this light purple (more of a lavender) color would be harder to miss when packing out of hotel rooms with dark furniture, etc. It seems to be very well made and has the functionality we need. We haven't traveled with it yet, but I have tested it (first thing I do when receiving something that's not immediately going into service) and it works well. I particularly like the way the cord wraps around the unit and is secured by a band for packing.
