This projector is well worth the purchase. The packaging of the projector kept it very safe from damages in shipping was the first thing I noticed. Directions were very clear. After removing the shipping screw, which could have used some type of indication to remove it could help . Trying to attach the tripod made it clear that you needed to remove it. The setup was simple and the instructions were clear and to the point. Picture quality was quite surprising, as good as a HI Definition tv/monitor but with the capability to have a much larger screen. It would be nice to have apps built in but I don’t think any of these units have them. Added my Fire Stick and I was up and watching. I would recommend anyone that is in need of a HD TV to try this instead. The only thing I would say on a negative point but it doesn’t change that I would buy this again. The picture online shows a much smaller unit. IT’s pictured on the tripod on a hand it either the hand was from a giant or it how the picture was taken made it look much smaller.

This TMY Mini projector is my first ever home projector. It’s fair to say that I am happy with this product, it is really simple to use, comes in a nice protected packaging and useful require tools like HDMI cable, cleaning tools, remote(batteries not included) and most importantly the tripod. overall it is a really nice product for a new projector user who wants to project things at home. I recommend it to my friend who been wanting a projector too, and he brought it right after mine. Definitely recommend this to everyone, and with the deal it is going on as 09/28. It’s a great and safe choice, can’t go wrong with it.
(ps. you need a lighting or USB Type-C to HDMI adopter or cable in order to stream Netflix, Hulu, Prime, HBO, etc… also can’t connect your AirPods to the built in bluetooth system(unless you can), but use an adopter/cable will solve the problem.)

Bit misleading…but COMPACT!

First I want to start by saying that TMY projectors have GREAT picture and sound quality. I now have three projectors; one for our “theatre room”, one for outside movies and now this mini projector for on the go. I was super excited to have this a our travel projector so I could use this at school (elementary counselor) or at the grandparent’s house. Being able to connect it to my phone was what reeled me in. However it is a bit misleading. When I connect to airplay from my iPhone it works! However, if I go to stream from Disney+, Amazon Prime or Netflix I am unable to play video. I’ve attached the message that says the device to play on does not meet HDCP content protection standards. This isn’t an absolute deal breaker for me though. I can still hook up my Roku or Firestick and stream movies so I just keep one in the box with the projector. I do plan to see if I can find an HDMI cord to connect to my phone and see if that will help stream movies from my iPhone. If you are looking for compact, this is a GREAT option!

I’ve been using the J Professional HI-04 Mini Projector that I purchased back in 2020. Compared to that model, this new TMY project is significantly much better. The quality of the image (e.g. sharpness) and the sound is much better. I use iPhone, and it is pretty simple to use the mirror image through this projector. I need to note that I was unable to display Netflix by using the WiFi mirror image functioning, but this is because it is copyright-protected. I believe you need to use the official Lighting to HDMI adapter to connect your ios devices with the projector to use copyright-protected apps. The tripod is a thoughtful addition.

I was quite surprised how great this little projector works. Easy setup and comes with all the cables you need to hook it up. The picture is nice and bright and it really has a lot of nice features to adjust picture settings. It has every input you need to hook up your Firestick, Blu Ray and other hardware. It’s perfect for the small setup or if you want to take it camping and project on an outside screen.
