What a great screen cleaning kit for under $13 (at the time of this review) I can't stress enough how important it is to choose your screen cleaning products carefully. True story… I ruined a Macbook Pro computer screen using a screen cleaner product. I didn't know better. I picked a random cleaning product on Amazon that was advertised for computer and television screen cleaning, thinking it would be safe. Within weeks, I saw the coating of my computer screen starting to flake off in several places. My screen looked like it had small pot marks. Then I started reading tons of similar complaints from other customers on Amazon who bought the same product. The problem is this: a lot of screen cleaners have alcohol or ammonia in them and/or are not properly PH balanced. These products will ruin your valuable electronics. This Tech Armor Cleaning Kit is an amazing value in that you get a product that is absolutely safe for all device screens. There are two bottles included in 3.4 and 0.8-ounce sizes. The smallest bottle is perfect for throwing into a suitcase, laptop, or camera bag when you need to clean while traveling. There are also three small microfiber cloths included as well. The cleaner did a very nice job on both my new Macbook Pro and iPhone screens. There was no streaking and no leftover residue. I would recommend not spraying this product directly on your screen. Spray it on the microfiber cloth first and then clean it. It's nice to have a safe product like this available in a handy kit at a very reasonable price. Please don't hesitate to consider a purchase.

    This screen cleaner is outstanding. I wish I had found it earlier as I would have saved quite a bit of money and time instead of trying other cleaners. It left the screens of my three Apple devices sparkling clean with minimum effort on my part. And because I am retired and my family care activities are “pau” [done, completed], I play a lot of video games which causes “tons” of fingerprints to appear, sometimes making it difficult, for example, to find the tiny cats hiding under, above or only partially visible in the skillfully drawn scenes. In fact, this cleaner is so effective and easy to use that I’m already putting Tech Armour on my Christmas gift list. (The small microfiber cloths that come with the sprayers are also great.)

    I like that this cleaner is alcohol and ammonia free as well as anti-static. Just about everything I clean, from electronics screens to eyeglasses, have coatings on them that I fear stripping. I was a little disappointed by the description. When I see the word “gel” I think of a viscous, substance. I thought the water gel formula description meant it was semi-solid and not as runny as plain liquid. I expected it to stay in place when sprayed on or run extremely slow. This runs similar to non-gel liquid cleaners and should be wiped off as quickly as possible after spraying, especially onto vertical screens. Otherwise, the liquid may reach the screen edges and possibly intrude internally. Cleaning effectiveness is good although a few tougher stains on my cell phone screen required additional rubbing with slightly more pressure. It does clean oily eyeglasses lenses well with a single spray and cloth. Overall, it’s not a bad package. It’s not spectacular nor vastly superior to other cleaners but it gets the job done and is free of harmful chemicals that can strip lens and screen coatings.
