Solid Pick for My Boy's Projects!

Solid Pick for My Boy's Projects!
I grabbed this Frunsi RubensTab T8 drawing tablet, running Android 13, for my 5-year-old. He's got a summer project coming up, and we really needed something he could actually draw on with a pen, that wasn't a huge laptop. The packaging was super solid. It showed up totally intact, which is always good to see. And they really loaded it up with accessories – little cleaning brush, battery, drawing glove, even a solid case. The 8-inch screen is just the right size; it slips right into his little backpack without any fuss, so it's genuinely portable. Now, I've been an Android guy since forever, never really got into the whole Apple scene, so setting this up was a breeze for me. That's actually a huge win. I can easily lock down apps or features, which is key for a 5 years old boy, keeps him focused on drawing instead of getting caught up in endless in-app ads. It just makes my life a little easier, you know? The 1200×800 resolution is plenty sharp for what he needs. He's been pulling his drawings onto Canva and even a little Photoshop later on my main computer, and we haven't seen any weird color issues or pixilation. The quality holds up. When you look at the price point compared to other drawing tablets out there, this one feels totally fair. It doesn't break my wallet, which is always a bonus for working class. All in all, if you're a parent looking for a decent, portable drawing tablet for your kid, especially if you're comfortable with Android, this Frunsi T8 is a pretty smart choice. My boy's been loving it.

First off, the tablet comes with the Mediatek MT8183 chip, which is great for a brand new tablet at this price. The tablet is able to not only draw, but also game. It's able to run games and drawing apps smoothly, and I was able to achieve around 20-30 FPS at high settings. Krita and Medibang run smoothly, though Krita is heavier and runs slightly slower, it is still pleasant to use. The included case feels high quality, as well as the pen and other accessories. The included screen protector is smooth, however, and you'll have to get used to it. A more matte texture on the screen protector would be a great addition. The pen works out of the box and the tablet was extremely simple and fast to set up. The tablet is on the smaller side, and the smaller screen is harder to draw on. However, this does make it very portable and I found it great for carrying around and traveling with. Battery life on this tablet is decent as long as you use it for drawing and media consumption. It also has stereo speakers, which is good to see.

The tablet is powerful for the tasks it is meant for, and even more! It comes with all the accessories you would need to start drawing, and the overall quality is impressive. If you want a fully capable standalone drawing table that you can take with you, this is the one. I would recommend this tablet if you are looking for a drawing tablet that includes a pressure sensitive pen at this price.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to share my experience with the Frunsi Drawing Tablet because it really exceeded my expectations—both the product and the customer service.

My tablet suffered an issue that was covered under warranty. I was so disappointed at first when the issue occurred, but Frunsi's customer service turned the whole situation around. I reached out to them and got a fast, friendly response. They made the return process incredibly easy, and I have a replacement tablet on the way as we speak. The communication was top-notch—polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. Their agents were so incredibly efficient and kind while being detail oriented in solving my problem. It’s rare to find that kind of support these days!

As for the tablet itself: **amazing value for the price.**
    – The pen is super responsive with excellent pressure sensitivity.
    – The drawing surface has a nice texture that feels great to work on.
    – It works perfectly with all my favorite programs, and I enjoy the ability to download apps to the tablet.
    – Setup was so simple, and I love the software that come preloaded on the device.

This is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable, budget-friendly drawing tablet. The product is great, and the company stands behind it. Highly recommend!

So first off I will start by saying this product is amazing, unlike some of my past art tablets where they seem to be more fit for games than art the frunsi is perfect for when im illustrating for my Wattpad stories. The pen is a great quality pen and works well with my clipaint studio account. I reccomend 100% Oh and i should mention customer service is always super helpful

An Outstanding Drawing Tablet – Perfect for Artists of All Levels!

I recently purchased the Ruben’s drawing tablet, and I have to say, it has completely transformed my digital art experience. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the sleek design and premium feel. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, making it perfect for both home use and taking on the go.

    Display & Performance

The screen is absolutely stunning! The colors are vibrant, the resolution is sharp, and the anti-glare coating makes it easy to use for long hours without straining my eyes. The pressure sensitivity is fantastic—every stroke feels natural, from the lightest sketch lines to deep, bold shading. The response time is incredibly fast, with no noticeable lag, which makes the drawing process smooth and enjoyable.

    Stylus & Customization

The stylus feels very comfortable to hold, even for extended periods. It’s well-balanced, lightweight, and doesn’t require batteries, which is a huge plus. The pressure sensitivity levels allow for precise control, making shading and line work feel incredibly natural. The customizable buttons on both the stylus and the tablet itself are a game-changer, allowing me to streamline my workflow and access my most-used tools quickly.

    Ease of Use & Compatibility

Setting up the tablet was a breeze. It connected seamlessly to my computer, and the drivers installed without any issues. It works flawlessly with popular software like Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, and Procreate. I also appreciate that it’s compatible with both Windows and Mac, giving me flexibility in my creative process.

    Overall Experience

After using the Ruben’s drawing tablet for a few weeks, I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for my art. It strikes the perfect balance between affordability and professional quality. Whether you’re a beginner looking to improve your digital art skills or a seasoned artist needing a reliable tablet, this is an excellent choice.

Highly recommend this drawing tablet—it’s an absolute joy to use, and I can’t imagine my creative process without it now!

    Affordable and convenient to use!

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 20, 2024

I bought this drawing tablet to learn digital art and couldn't be happier with my decision. Not only does it come with two high-quality drawing apps, but it's also incredibly easy to use. The 1920×1200 screen resolution is fantastic, offering clear and vibrant visuals that truly enhance the drawing experience. The tablet size is just right 10 inches—not too big, yet large enough to comfortably see what I'm working on. The display is impressive, and the tablet itself feels sturdy, with a screen that resists scratches. It's comfortable to hold or rest on my lap, making it perfect for extended use.

The MTK 8183 octa-core processor ensures smooth performance, allowing me to run multiple apps without any lag. I love that it functions similarly to an Android phone, making the transition seamless. The interface is intuitive, it boots up quickly, and everything is easy to navigate. The pressure sensitivity is spot on, enabling fluid strokes and precise details in my drawings. Plus, the pre-installed screen protector is a thoughtful addition. The tablet also comes with a stylish case and a drawing glove and a Cleaning kit (cleaning brush, cleaning cloth, cleaning gloves), which are great bonuses.

Overall, this tablet is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to dive into digital art without breaking the bank. It’s perfect for both kids and adults, and I highly recommend it to anyone starting their artistic journey!

High pixel density, good contrast levels, and overall a very satisfying visual experience.

It also comes with a generous range of accessories, which was a big plus.

What really stands out, though, is the customer service. They’re quick to respond and always happy to help with any questions.

    Great for a starter tablet

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 4, 2024

Does exactly what it says on the tin – it’s a visual drawing tablet, that you don’t need a computer for. It’s not so big that it’s in the way of everything, and it’s not too small to see anything on it. It’s just right. It’s pretty lightweight, so you can watch stuff or draw on it in the comfort of your bed. Its stand is also adjustable with a variety of different positions, allowing for all sorts of postures. My only complaints are that firstly the pen nibs are a little annoying sometimes, I do t know if its just me but they often tend to either become loose or get stuck so the tablet can’t register them, so I often have to take the nib out and fiddle around with it. There’s also occasionally a slight delay when drawing but it’s only in some apps and is relatively minor.

Overall, I would say that for the price it’s a great tablet for getting started with Digital Art.

The media could not be loaded.

I got this for my teen son who's into digital drawing and he’s been using it pretty much every day since. He used to draw on an older tablet that needed to be plugged into a computer, so this has been a nice step up for him. No wires, no hassle, just pick it up and start drawing.

The size feels just right. Not too big, not too small, and light enough that he can carry it around the house. Sometimes he’s at his desk, other times he’s curled up on the sofa. The stand it comes with actually works well and doesn’t feel cheap. He adjusts it depending on how he’s sitting and it holds up fine.

The pen is responsive and works really smoothly. There’s a bit of texture to the screen, which makes drawing feel more natural. It doesn’t feel like you’re sliding across glass, which is a nice touch. It also came with a few extra pen tips which I didn’t realise would be useful until he mentioned it.

He’s mainly using drawing apps like Sketchbook and a few others he downloaded, and they’ve all been running with no issues. He also uses it now and then for watching videos or browsing, and that’s been fine too. It’s not the fastest tablet out there, but it doesn’t need to be. Everything he’s used it for has worked smoothly.

Battery life has been better than I expected. He usually gets through the whole day on a single charge, even when he’s using it a lot. The only small thing is that the screen can get a bit of glare if the lighting isn’t quite right, but once he adjusted the angle it was fine.

For what we paid, I think it’s a great option for someone who’s into digital art and wants something simple that works. He’s really happy with it, and that’s all I could ask for.
