This 35mm lens, designed for full-frame E-mount cameras, is based on the Zeiss Sonnar optical concept. It incorporates a seven-element-in-five-group design that not only enables a large maximum aperture of f/2.8 but also minimizes flare and enhances contrast. Its wide-angle prime design makes it an excellent choice for street photography, environmental portraits, and general-purpose shooting.
The lens design incorporates three double-sided aspherical elements to minimize astigmatism, field curvature, coma, and other monochromatic aberrations.
