The Sony Alpha a9 Mirrorless Digital Camera is a revolutionary addition to the Sony mirrorless family, boasting superior multimedia capabilities and unprecedented processing speed for rapid continuous shooting. This camera is outfitted with a 24.2MP full-frame Exmor RS stacked CMOS sensor and a BIONZ X image processor, enabling the a9 to capture images at an impressive speed of up to 20 fps, record UHD 4K video in-house, and extend its sensitivity range to ISO 204,800.

The processor’s speed harmonizes perfectly with an extensive 693-point phase-detection autofocus system that encompasses 93% of the image area, guaranteeing precise and quick subject tracking in diverse lighting conditions. To further augment the imaging and focusing performance, the a9 is also equipped with a 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization system.
