I purchased the black fitness ring for my husband, and it’s surprisingly stylish—sleek and modern. We were careful when measuring his ring size, and it fits perfectly. That said, I do wish we had measured a different finger than the one he wears his wedding band on, because now he can only wear one or the other. The ring doesn’t fit on any of his other fingers. BUYER TIP: The instructions suggest wearing the ring on the index or middle finger.
As for functionality, the ring works great and tracks all the parameters as advertised. Pairing it with the app was quick and easy. The step count closely matches what his phone tracks and the sleep tracking is pretty accurate. The only data point we don’t put much stock in is the blood pressure reading—it consistently showed higher numbers than we’re used to seeing. When we double-checked with a traditional BP cuff, his readings were perfectly normal. After some research, we learned that the ring estimates BP based on pulse curve data, so it’s more of a rough approximation than an accurate medical reading.
Overall, it’s a very convenient health tracker—more discreet than a Fitbit and far less distracting than a smartwatch with constant notifications. Definitely a good choice if you want simple, low-profile health tracking.
