To begin with, I am extremely impressed with this robot vacuum. It has saved me a significant amount of time and money. Living in a rural area with a golden retriever, our home accumulates a substantial amount of dirt, mud, pet hair, and dust. With hardwood floors throughout the house, we previously spent over an hour each day sweeping and mopping, only to return home to dirty floors again the next day. After researching various robot vacuum options and discussing different brands with coworkers, I found that Shark models consistently received positive feedback, which led us to choose this one. The setup process was very straightforward, with clear, step-by-step instructions provided through the app. The vacuum mapped our home in approximately 5–10 minutes and was ready to use immediately. Once activated, the robot cleaned our 1,000-square-foot home in about an hour or less and performed exceptionally well. It outperformed our traditional upright vacuum, collecting noticeably more pet hair and dust. The device offers three suction levels, as well as adjustable mopping settings for areas that require deeper cleaning. The mopping function is particularly impressive and has proven to be more effective than our Shark 2-in-1 upright mop with a roller brush. One of the standout features is the scheduling option, which allows the vacuum to clean while we are away and ensures the floors are spotless when we return home. For localized messes such as liquid spills or dropped food, the robot can target specific areas and make multiple passes to thoroughly clean them.
The vacuum navigates around furniture, walls, people, and pets efficiently without causing scuff marks, thanks to its gentle contact and front bumper. I have also noticed that it intelligently cleans areas previously occupied by our dog once she moves. Additionally, the app provides real-time notifications if the vacuum encounters an issue or requires attention, such as an empty water reservoir.
Overall, I wish I had discovered this robot vacuum sooner, as it would have saved us from spending money on cleaning products and tools that did not deliver the same level of performance.
