I am a verified customer and purchased this product independently. I've been using this product for a few weeks regularly.
The projector has a smaller format than most pull-down projectors available and is comparably lightweight because of it. This is great for handling and moving to different locations. Such as an indoor to outdoor table.
Its "scissor-lift" accordian support mechanism works really well as it provides a perfectly taughnt screen – vital for projection without distortion. I wouldn't imagine this mechanism to fail over time. i've have seen reviews where the corresponding adhesion / clamping hold on the screen has given away but this hasn't been my case thus far.
I am using the screen in two different mounting methods. Both the "intended" self-supported upright orientation and a hanging method which i have modified to accomplish.
Self Supported: Works as advertised. Both end caps have raised portions that allow the screen to stand up and support the frame. If your surface is not level you would need to "shim" one end as there is no design feature to compensate.
Hanging: I taped a magnetic metal clip at each end. There are corresponding magnets attached to my ceiling where the clips affix easily. I used fairly strong magnets
I am most pleased with the collapsible/ handling features and the screen quality. In saying, this projector could really shine with some design integrations such as keyholes or a hanging method. An additional adjustment mech for un-level surfaces would be easy to accomplish too.
Overall, I am pleased with the Pyle projector screen and will follow up with any future changes in my opinion of using the product.
