I've purchased other solar generators, but this is my 2nd Powkey. This is very easy to use. And, With minimal direct sunlight I can connect the solar panel and it will begin charging. The panel also functions as my phone charger too. While camping, After I used it to inflate my 24 inch high Queen size air mattress I was able to charge multiple flashlight, fans, phones and speakers before I recharged the generator. Also, 2 years ago we were caught in a thunderstorm, my generator and panel got left out in the rain. I expected it to be ruined, but as of today I still use it when traveling. On a good sunny day my 40 watt panel charges the generator in about 6 to 7 hours. But the power cord will charge it in about 3 hours. I do recommend keeping the generator out of the direct sunlight because it will get very hot and power off while using it. After buying my 2nd one, my husband decided to buy 1 keep in each of our cars.

There was an issue with the first unit that arrived. But, as soon as I brought the issue to the attention of Amazon and Powkey, both companies jumped into action to make things right. I was offered 'Refund or Replace'. I chose 'Replace'. The replacement arrived in record time, and I am very happy with the replacement. The unit does everything it was advertised to do. This is not a High Power unit, but it does what I need. I need power for a light, a fan, and a radio in my shed. 12VDC can do all of this very well. I tested the 120VAC, and it worked fine with a low wattage radio. I tested a high wattage flood light; it turned on, and it quickly shut down to prevent damage. For Low Power applications, this is a very nice package. I have a 12V/11W light set up, and it will stay on for hours. I also have 2 small USB fans that run 24/7. They run continuously, and the battery stays at full charge.

The portable powerstation didn't last long. Barely a month in and it couldn't hold a charge anymore. The battery life just went dead. I don't know if it it because I keep charging all day or what, but it died on me. Terrible purchase. At least the solar panel work fine though.

Good, but could be better. I took 2 of these to remote Alaska on a 2 week moose hunting trip. I had a few requirements and these meet almost all of them. I needed them to be FAA compliant to take on an airplane, charge multiple ways including solar, power a CPAP machine, star link mini and charge phones and computers as well as be durable for outdoor use. I purchased a water tight case because these aren't a very good outdoor use product. The case was carry on size and I cut the foam inside to fit two of the solar generator packs, the 2 solar panels, a star link mini, all the cords and my laptop. It fit snuggly but worked great. We where able to charge the units on the boat most days and when it was sunny outside I used the solar panels. We went thought at least one complete battery pack every night sometime both. When we where in camp with the star link fired up I could use my computer, we all could talk and video chat on our phones, charge phones and my laptop and I could use my CPAP to sleep. They worked, but I did notice that the batteries did seem to loose some of there ability to store as much power. Probably not the best of batteries inside. The solar panels are water resistant but there useless in the rain, no sun means no solar charging. The 3 ft cord to plug them into charge makes it kind of hard at times and I wish they could take more then 40 watts of power for charging. When we used the power outlet on the boat it took 5 hours for each one to charge and when I used the solar panels on the sunny days it took 8 hours each. Something that size should be able to charge in an hour or 2 at most. Also the grommets on the solar panels are at the end on the edges and they break out easily. I had both panels hanging on a small rope and they ripped out the grommets the first day. Another annoying feature is the blue power indicator lights that stay on all the time when they are charging and drawing power. Yeah they don't use much power but they are horrible at night, had to cover them so we could sleep. All in all, for the money they are good and they worked the way I needed them to. I will continue to use them when I travel as they are handy to have and I can always fire up the star link mini without having to run all the power cords out. Ow, if you want to use it for the starlink you will want the 12 volt power adapter that ups the voltage to 19 volts or use the AC output. It won't run the starlink straight off the 12 volt plug in.

This is a really nice mini generator that looks very sturdy and comes with clear directions. It has 2 plug in ports and 4 usb ports, plus a carrying case. I like it so much I'm planning to buy another one with the solar pack. I'm happy that I will still have internet and some backup power whenever the electricity goes out.

Just got it, charging now. Very excited to use this thing I hope it is durable.

It's heavier than I expected but easily carried in a pack or tote. Folding solar panel has multiple outputs, you could use it for other devices directly if the Powkey wasn't available.

100W Powkey bank with 30W panel, came with all the connectors and cables you need.

faltbare Solarzelle mit Mängeln bei der USB Wandlung

Reviewed in Germany on May 17, 2023

Mal sehen, was der Hersteller dazu sagt.

[EDIT]Der Hersteller empfielt eine Reklamation, das Pfeifen scheint nicht normal zu sein.[/EDIT]
