Very powerful and portable, yay!

Very powerful and portable, yay!
This is a game changer for me! I'm planning on a beach getaway and will spend the whole day there. I wanted something I could use to warm up food, charger my phone, if necessary and not have to pack it up due to not having access to this. I charged my laptop and it took a little over an hour to full charge it. I charged my cellphone and it took and hour to charge. I did this separately so I could see what each would use to charge up. I also used it via a surge protector and straight into the wall outlet as well as different charging cords. There was a significant difference between them.

Thank you for your feedback

    This powerful power station
    Completes.
My power needs for multiple applications such as charging. My phone during camping taking it
Out to keep my telescopes charged for all night exploration. Needs for cameras, laptops and lighting. I've used this power pack for sporting events. And just to keep my Bluetooth charged, sitting around a bonfire has not let me down yet more than enough power, never have used all the power from this unit. It has been.
A lifesaver, for sitting out in my pop-up tent with my screened in mesh to run a bug zapper and USB fans to keep
Airflow in the middle of summer.
    Great addition to my needs

Worked well to power parade lights

  • Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2025

I’ve purchased three portable power stations for my field electrical work, and while my previous units from other brands lasted longer, this Powkey unit failed within just a few months. At first, it worked fine, powering lights, a radio, charging phones, and drill batteries. But soon the battery started draining unusually fast, and after a short time it couldn’t hold a charge at all.

One of the things I regret the most is that within the first month of use, I bought two more units to give as gifts to my family, thinking they would be just as reliable. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake.

The build quality is terrible, the handle is fragile, the casing feels cheap, and it gives no confidence for field use. If you rely on a power station for work or emergencies, this cannot be trusted. After my experience, it’s clear that it’s better to spend more money upfront and buy a higher quality, more powerful, and durable unit that will actually last, rather than wasting money on something that breaks quickly.

This is actually a really nice power station. It's pure sine, so you get a stable true-voltage output at the AC receptacles (117.8VAC under no load). All DC outputs work well, and the wireless charging works great with my Pixel7, even with a case. It comes with a 90w AC charger, which the unit displays 84.3w incoming, which is pretty close to specs. It uses a less common DC7909 input connector, but that's easily solved by using a cheap DC5521-DC7909 adapter. The issue I'm having, however, is when trying to charge this power bank via solar. The input wattage bounces all over the place, from nothing, up to 83w, and everywhere in between, never "locking in". I have tried it with 3 different 100w portable (fold up) panels, all with the same results. I have tried a couple different adapters, as well as a MC4-DC7909 cable. I have a different brand power bank that gets a steady 89-92w input from all of those same panels. Charging on the wall charger works great – solar, not so much. That pretty much negates it's usefulness as a power solution when camping or beaching. If all you need is a charge-and-go unit, this would be a good choice for the variety of outputs, capacity, and a fair price. The problem I'm encountering may be just with the one I got, I'm not sure. But whatever is causing this "bouncing around" wattage on solar has left me puzzled and disappointed. If not for the issue I'm experiencing, I would definitely give this power bank a 5/5!

    Came with cheap plastic hook

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 21, 2021

The item I received does not come with the metal hook as shown in the product photos. I have purchased several types of these LED bulbs and the metal hook is a must if they're for camping or any outdoor use. The plastic hook will break and you'll be left scrabbling around in the tent looking for a tie.
