Honest Review Based on Cost, Quality, and Use
I bought the OhO Smart Glasses with the Grey Lens.COST: These were some of the cheapest speaker glasses on Amazon. I bought them on sale for $30 or $40. Considerably less than the "brand name" glasses with speakers. At this price point, I was willing to take the risk and try them out.QUALITY: I was expecting very cheap materials given the price point, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that, while they were certainly not high quality, they did not feel or look as cheap as I was expecting. The lenses are simple polarized plastic and not very dark. However, they work to keep the sun from frying your eyes.USE: These are not bone conductive speakers, rather there are speakers built into the frame that play towards your ear. Because of this, the sound quality is not great. Music is audible but there is not real difference between the EQ frequencies, so you end up with one flat sound. Similarly, audiobooks are difficult to make out at times if the reader varies voices or volume. The sound is also very audible to others around you meaning whatever you listen to may be heard by others. This is where the star is lost. The frame is one of the sleeker frames that carry speakers and they fit well on the face. So the profile and look of the glasses are quite decent.SUMMARY: These are a good purchase at $40 or less. While limited in some function as they are speakers attached to glasses, they are a great alternative to having earbuds in all the time. I will consider purchasing another blue light filtering pair for work if the price goes down!

My husband and I are e-bike riders and have tried many different types of ways to communicate while riding. Earbuds work okay, but not particularly safe to use in traffic and walkie talkies were too bulky. I ordered these with low expectations and I am blown away! First of all, they work great for the intended purpose in that they connect to our iPhones and sound quality is amazing while communicating on our bikes. Here’s the part I wasn’t expecting. The sunglasses lens are actually quite good and they are super comfortable. I use them when I do my morning walks and I love the sound quality while listening to my music and can easily press the pause/volume buttons when necessary. I’m sure it’s not the quality of more expensive headphones, but it’s still amazing given the price of the product. My only regret is that I didn’t spend the extra money on the transition lenses which would have been better for evening bike rides. We’ve only had these for a few weeks, so hopefully they will keep on impressing me. I highly recommend these. Just saw yesterday where they had a lightning deal where you could get these for $25 less than I paid for them. Bummer. Best to keep watching for a deal.

My dad and boyfriend and boyfriend’s best friend, & boyfriend’s best friend’s wife loves these glasses!

I can NOT hear them clearly when they use the phone call capability, but it’s not completely terrible.

The music can be just loud enough for only the wearer to hear, and not people around them. I love the privacy. But that also depends on where they are and how loud the volume is and how close the people are. Just use common sense on how high to set the volume. 🙂 THE GLASS LENSES ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED. Fake lenses that have bad quality can cause yellowing of the eyes. Be careful when buying glasses.

Let me start by saying I've gotten these as well as the popular Razer Anzu glasses, so I'll be able to compare them.

The Anzu glasses I got were $25 but they were the round version which look weird to me. I suspect that's why they were $25. I thought these looked cooler so I got them as well.

Compared to the Anzus the sound and build quality are a bit worse but not that much worse. Especially the sound quality. These get louder than the Anzus too, so that's something to keep in mind. Overall, they aren't headphones, but they're close enough to a pair of glasses that retail much higher, so I'd say that's a solid win.

I mentioned a "worse" build quality, when maybe I should've said less premium. That's because these seem like they were made from a cheaper plastic, but they also seem much sturdier. The Anzus seem heavy, sort of wobbly and I'd be scared to drop them. These stay on your head more securely, feel lighter and seem like they could take more of a beating.

Another pro for these glasses is the controls. Look, I get it. EVERYTHING has touch controls these days. It's more premium, technologically advanced, etc, etc, but I'm not a fan of them on a lot of headphones and it seems weird on glasses like the Anzus. The Ohos feature actual buttons that work well and are easier to use.

Going back to more premium, the tech in the Anzu is smarter. They pair when you open them and turn off when they are closed. The Ohos require holding in the power button to power down. Not a huge deal, but it speaks to the difference in price.

I almost forgot but the Anzus come with blue light blocking frames AND a second pair of sunglasses frames. That is a massive value in itself, but the practicality of constantly switching frames may make it a moot point unless you get really great at quickly uninstalling/installing them.

With all that being said, if these and the Anzu rectangular versions were the same price I'd buy those for the more premium look, slightly better sound, better tech and multiple frames.

But they are not the same price. The Anzus hover around $60 while the Ohos are $35 or so. For the price, the Ohos are better. The Anzus are not better enough to spend that much more. If you want something really good or are an audiophile, then go with the higher end ones on the market ($100+), but I think these are great for what they are.

Definitely buy these if you haven't had Bluetooth glasses before to see if you actually like this sort of product!

These work really nice. With that said, let me go into details on why this might or might not work for you and why I provided 3 stars instead of 5.

There are a bit tighter around my ears. As far as I can see there is no way to adjust them to make them looser- I will occasionally get a headache.

These sometimes connect and disconnect and while it’s not ideal, it normally will correct and connect pretty fast.

The sound is clear for calls, however I wish it was louder. It is sometimes hard to hear in a louder environment. Music is not great- however I am a music lover, so I cannot see myself really using anything other than my Bose headphones for that anyway.

I mostly got these because I am a remote computer worker and I wanted to take calls and meetings while having a wireless way to do it and have the perks of the blue light blocking. For this reason, these work perfect for what I needed them for.
