You can't go wrong buying PowrUI! I have several (actually more than several!) PowrUI products, and they are all well made and durable, and this POWRUI 6 Outlet Extender with 3 USB Ports (1 USB C) and Night Light is no exception. The unit is made so that if you wish to use it in a GFI receptable, you simply remove the peg on the back of the unit that would normally slip into the ground hole on the outlet; this is necessitated because the outlets on a GFI receptacle are spaced differently than on a normal 2-gang outlet. The 6 outlets are positioned two on either side and two in front, between which the 3 USB ports are situated. A nice feature is the night light function, which will come on a dusk and off at dawn, but also may be turned on by pressing the button at the top of the unit. And finally, unlike many other similar units, this comes with the screw necessary to affix it to the outlet so that it doesn't pull out of the socket. Note that if you are using this in a GFI outlet as I am, you can not use the screw to affix it to the GFI outlet as the GFI outlet does not have the needed hole to accommodate the screw.

The outlet I have has 2 reset buttons right where the screw goes to anchor it to the wall. Most outlets have a screw in the middle and you would replace that screw with the screw they provide, which is extra long. For me, it kept falling forward and wouldn’t stay in the outlet.
If you have a normal outlet with the screw in the middle this will work great for you. I gave 4 stars because it does not fit all outlets.

I bought two of these to help clean up a hodge lodge of triple taps, night lights, adapters, etc cluttering the bathroom vanities. These new multi outlet surge protectors worked very well in doing that, and are stylish, clean, and very functional. The built in led night lights surround the faces for a much more modern look than the previous plug in night lights, and provide three levels of brightness, plus a manual on and off. The outlets are widely spaced for access without the various plugs interfering with each other. The built in usb outlets also eliminated the need for the usb wall plug adapters. These devices were compatible with a standard duplex outlet as well as a gfci outlet, which is taller than the standard outlet. For a standard outlet, remove the cover plate and use the included long screw to attach the multi outlet to the wall outlet firmly. On the gfci outlet, I removed the plastic ground plug piece from the multi outlet (which doesn't fit in a gfci outlet) and just plugged it in to the wall outlet. This allows easy access to the gfci button if needed to reset it. With the prior setup, which was a wiring nightmare, I had to reset the gfci every few days. Now, maybe just once in a couple of months.
