A solid option for the price point but may have issues with low lighting
The photo quality with this camera is pretty good. Using it as a webcam for streaming, it continuously autofocuses which wasn't a huge requirement for my needs. I do like that the settings can be adjusted in Windows or the app you're using so you don't have to worry about an additional app to adjust. I was able to find a way to change this camera to manual focus to avoid the continuous autofocus. The colors are great with decent lighting but in low light conditions, it seems to struggle.The camera doesn't get overly hot or any other areas of concern to note. The numerous mount holes and mount options were a nice touch. You can purchase mounts made for this but I 3d printed a mount that would work with my setup.It is a great 4k camera and for the price point, it's hard to beat but it's a little too bulky and needs some work with dealing with low lighting

    i am impressed with this one. most of the webcams i have had to review do like one thing well to the deficit of other things. the ones that have super crisp images/ video have like a really narrow depth of field. the sweet spot is fantastic, but you cannot move or you will go out of focus. this mokose, has an autofocus feature. i didnt have to do anything to make it work. i didnt have to fuss with zoom or focus rings. i leaned back in my chair. and little mokose was like, "hey i am gonna put you back into focus because i lost you for a second. the other cams either arent very crisp, or they are at a very specific distance. so if i lean back in the chair my ugly dome gets all out of focus. this one works. keeps all my ugliness in focus. you can see it refocus, so there is that, but still. i can lean backwards and forwards and still puts me into focus. takes a microscond you see it get fussy for a split second but then its focussed. outstanding. i ran a web resolution algorithm and it could not figure out what this is. it kept showing it as vga. but it most definitely is not. the manual has it 2560×1440/ 30fps. 3840×2160/ 30fps, it even goes up to 8160×6120/ but at 5fps. i dont know what all those numbers mean really, but i know i can see so many defects in my face that maybe it is too good.

    Sharp but bad color

    This USB web cam definitely has a sharp image and can pick up detail really well. Unfortunately the color on it is really inaccurate. Everything is heavy on the red tint, so people look like they have a slight sunburn, and it messes up the colors of things around you as well (not just limited to affecting skin tones). This is also a HUGE camera, physically takes up a ton of space. They don't give you any mounting hardware, tripod, or any real way to secure this on its own, so you need to supply your own tripod, or shelf, or mount unless you want this just sitting on a desktop with a super awkward angle.

    Not quite ready for prime time on this one, there are definitely better options for you out there. It does work in a pinch, but I'd save this as an emergency backup at best.

    This camera obviously has a good build quality, and I was really excited to get it set up. I was disappointing in the image is not for their sharpness, which is not lacking whatsoever, but for the color fidelity, which is really poor on which you use, is this significant amount of color shifting? This can be compensated for an a program like OBS, but that is not for the regular consumer. It will take us certain amount of video experience to get the most out of this camera and I don’t think that is the market for this so I would go with something a little more easy to use out of the box..

    Great for Our Computer Construction

    We build and sell custom computers made to order. Many times, to fulfill a special wish of a client, we may use unconventional components that you would not normally see put in the same computer case. If this results in a unique way of operation, we will send along a USB stick with the manual and several videos illustrating the correct procedure to use the device. Doing this has eliminated those late-night calls to our support lines from clients wanting to know how to do this or that. This camera has made the "filming" of these videos a much more professional-looking task. With its high resolution, we can edit and crop to show up close what the verbiage is explaining. I'm sure there will be quite a few other tasks we can accomplish and improve with the use of this camera.

    This camera is very nice, just plug in a good quality usb type c cable into it and go! It is an excellent image. Also, it also claims to be a 4k camera, which I guess is technically true. I found that it defaults to 1080p, and you have the option of higher resolutions, however this seems to create some input lag and is around 30fps. In the the higher resolutions the image quality looked a little off to me, this could be due to my own pc. The all aluminum shells instill confidence in the build quality of the camera, and is sturdy. Overall its an excellent camera. Honestly I could use a couple more of these for other angles.

    Most of the webcams that are out there on the market are smaller and do not always provide a decent resolution to whoever is on the other end of your conference call or chitchat. I decided to get this camera and give it a try and see how well it worked and was pleasantly surprised. It provides me better resolution so that whoever I am talking to singularly or in a conference can see the things that I may need to hold up during our conversations. It is also small enough that I can tuck it away and not have it get in the way when sitting on my desk.
