handy little setup for quick screen casting
Tried this wireless HDMI kit on a quiet evening when I wanted to stream something from my laptop to the living room TV without dragging cables across the floor. Plugging everything in was honestly easier than I expected. The Type C connector fit snugly in my laptop and the receiver picked it up within a few seconds without extra apps or menus. Once it synced, the picture came through smoothly in 1080P and the colors looked clean and sharp enough for movies or work presentations. I tested it with a tablet too just to see if my mom could use it later and it worked the same way. The signal held steady even when I walked around the room or moved the device a bit. The range is good for our apartment and I didn’t see any noticeable lag while watching videos. The audio also stayed in sync which is something that sometimes bugs me with other wireless devices. The unit itself doesn’t get too warm, just a mild warmth after a long session. The only tiny thing is that the transmitter sticks out a bit if you’re using a slim tablet case, but removing the case for casting isn’t a big deal. The compact size makes it easy to toss into a drawer or bring to the office when needed. For quick presentations, movie nights, or helping my mom mirror her phone photos onto the TV, this has been surprisingly convenient. Overall it’s been a smooth plug and play experience that works reliably without extra fuss.

    Did not work. Do not buy. I spent several hours trying to get it to work. Searched for trouble shooting on line with no luck. Waist of time and money. Its Going to the trash. Very Frustrating. Not just plug and play. It is also Requesting password to connect from android cell to smart tv. What password!??? Not in instructions which is mostly chinese. Not on tv screen or on cell phone. 12345678 and or oooooooo as suggested on line did not work.

    I have just used this product (Upgraded Type-C Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver, 50M, Ultra 4K Decode Input 1080P) for the second time last night, following purchasing it, and it is heating up to an unbearable extent. Today I logged in to Amazon to return it, but it says that the return window is closed yesterday. I would urge the seller / vendor to return this product and provide me with a full return. I don't want this product as I am risking my family with any possible hazord.
