Update on 9/10/2024: after I this review, the vendor reached out to me via Amazon to offer a full refund or a replacement. I wanted to give this device, which I really liked when it worked. another chance. It was shipped fast & I received the replacement in 3 days. Great. It worked great, except, 3 of the 5 UDB ports didn't work at all. I have replied to the oroiginal message explsining the issue. That was 3 days ago & no response.
I was going to change my rating to 4-stars, but now I leave it as 1-star until this gets resolved. I am happy my HDMI port works & I have 2 working USB ports. But, this is not enough. I will update this review if & when I hear back from the vendor.

So disappointed. I ordered it on March 2, 2014. It worked great for the 1st 5 months. For the past month the devices connected to the hub have been disconnecting in the middle of use. This means, I lose access to my mouse, additional screen, headset, etc. Rebooting the laptop sometimes works, but not all the times. I have the latest drivers. Starting the labor day weekend, I have no connectivity at all. My laptop only has 1 USB-C & without a USB-C mouse, I am forced to use the trackpad, which I hate & I can't use my external monitor, which I really need for work.
I have written to the manufacturer 3 times, but they have ignored me. I paid a lot of money for this unit so i will have a reliable device for work, when I could have paid 15 bucks for the same quality.
I will not be purchasing this brand any more.
