The lemon cloud window film is absolutely gorgeous. It lets a lot of light into the room, but still creates privacy. The quality is very good and it is easy to apply.

I got this window film today and immediately went to work installing it on my window. It looks gorgeous. I got it because I live somewhere very hot and the light from this window would consistently wake me up before I was ready to get up. I have nothing to say on its ability to keep out heat as I've only had it installed completely for an hour, but installation for me was very simple and straight forward, as someone who's done this type of work before. For someone who hasn't, it may take a little bit to get used to, but I adore it.
We shined a flashlight from the back of it after instillation and no light came through, which was exactly what I was looking for. I used a box cutter, an old gift card, and a spray bottle with water as well as a self-healing mat and a see-through sewing ruler to limit as much waste as possible. I still have about half the roll left and I'll be using it on my other window in this room tomorrow. I will likely buy this again or maybe a different design for the other rooms in my home if this proves to lessen the amount of heat coming through. As a privacy screen, this is perfect. Nothing goes through the design. It's like I painted the window black.
Update: I removed the film last week because I moved. The film came off mostly clean but did leave a small amount of residue at the edges. It lasted through an entire summer in the southern heat with very little issue.

Update 2025: Moved and took the film with me. These are easy to reuse as long as the new windows are similar size and you roll them up properly! Though my new home has better windows, these are still useful in areas that take a beating from the sun. Also, I found out house plants can get enough light even with these up! Cool. Bought them 2 more times after the initial review and their consistency between rolls has been the on point. I still highly recommend these!
I live on the second story of an apartment building with all my windows facing out into the parking lot. Besides the view being undesirable, the windows are probably original to the building (1980s), all single pane, and let in a lot of heat during the Florida summer. I wanted something prettier to look at than a parking lot that could also reduce the heat transfer from the outside, if only by a little bit. These fit the bill!
My camera does not do these justice. They are absolutely lovely. They catch the light, whether it's the sun during the day or your lamps at night, and reflect it beautifully. I took several pictures and a small video to try and show how they look at night, during the day, and from outside. I bought two rolls and both were the same consistency.
These are just so-so for privacy. The closer you are to the window, the less they block. It's still better than having nothing at all, of course, but if you want complete privacy go for a plain frosted film.
Heat reflection seems pretty good. I have one window without a film and there's a noticeable difference between that window and the ones with this film on it.
Installation was easy after I read the directions. I had no problem separating the film from the plastic protective backing. My windows had paint and gunk on them from a poorly done remodel before we moved in. I took a stove scraper (with plastic blade) to get everything off and thoroughly cleaned my windows. After cleaning them, I soaked them with my water spritzer and stuck the film on without cutting them. Once they were in place THEN I cut them! (Gila's Window Film kit really helped get everything fit and cut.) I got the air bubbles out with Gila's hard card squeegee.
The only negative thing I can say about putting them on my window is the film is a bit unwieldy when you've got a larger window. That's not the products fault, it's just the nature of covering a large space.
I will be getting a 3rd roll of this to finish a 4th window (which I knew in advance I didn't have enough for). Highly recommend!
