Everything about it works as expected. Had an outdoor GFCI that kept tripping. Didn’t know what circuit it was on. There were 10 other items on this circuit covering 3 rooms so the two word description was useless. Followed the instructions (scan panel twice) and it identified the circuit number. Flipped it off and sure enough the outlet went dead. Changed out the outlet and tested it to confirm it was correctly wired. Very impressed. Will put this to good use.

    This product works very well. I completely mapped out all of the breakers in my homes circuit panel after years of not being able to read the faded writing from the time it was originally built.

    Also helped me to find and turn off a light switch that I needed to replace.

    Don’t pay any attention to the negative reviews purportedly by “licensed electricians” – follow the directions and it will work for you. You HAVE to go through each breaker once for the learning phase, and then a SECOND pass in the exact same order you went through in the first pass. It’s during this SECOND phase that the flash will be a solid red and very noticeable. You’ve found your breaker.

    This kit comes with a number of handy attachments, I really like the compactness of the case and everything just works correctly. Thanks for the Duracell batteries that were included in the package.

    I’ve become a fan of this brand after purchasing their multimeter. That works awesome as well. Quality brand at a great price point.

    So far, I’ve only used this once. It worked well the 1st circuit breaker I checked, but didn’t work so well on the next few attempts.
    I did a little research and found out it needs to be reset each time you use it.
    I didn’t see that bit of info in the instructions, but once I figured out I had to reset each time, it worked well after that.

    This is such a handy tool! It is so much easier than guessing which breaker must be shut off, getting it wrong, then having to reset clocks, reboot computers, etc. This tool enables me to go directly to the breaker I need to shut off without guessing. Glorious! This kit has the various adapters required to tap into any 110V circuit and provide the necessary signal. The inclusion of the GFCI tester and non-contact voltage sensor make it so handy. I have other dedicated GFCI testers and NCV sensors but now I rarely use them. The Kaiweets kit is always in my bag ready for work.

    Some folks have mentioned that the device housings seems “light” or doesn’t feel robust. I tend to agree, though this perception hasn’t been realized in any failures or issues after lots of use.

    I would purchase the Kaiweets breaker finder kit again if the need ever arose. Highly recommended. A great value.

    I bought this for a kitchen renovation, and it has already paid for itself in saved time and frustration. If you live in an older house where the breaker panel labels are either missing or written in mysterious hieroglyphics, you need this.
    What I loved:
    Plug and Play: You just plug the transmitter into the outlet and run the wand over the breakers.
    The "Second Pass" Trick: The instructions say to scan the whole panel once to "calibrate" and then scan again to find the breaker. Follow this! It was 100% accurate once I did that.
    Bonus Features: The transmitter also works as a GFCI outlet tester, which helped me find a miswired outlet I didn't even know I had.
    Small Gripe: The beeping is very loud (though I guess that's the point). It doesn't come with a 9V battery, so make sure you have one on hand.
    Verdict: Highly recommended for any DIYer who values their sanity

    While I have not had the time to review the circuit breaker finder, I have tested all of my outlets after going through the Florida hurricanes last year. All of our wiring was redone and I found some issues with the receptacle outlets. So I am calling my electricians back.     This worked really well. I was impressed. It found the breaker straight away. You have to make sure you do the learn mode first and than scan the breakers the second time. It even included Duracell batteries and not a generic battery.
    It's lightweight like other reviewers stated but in no means takes away from it working properly. Follow the directions and you will be happy. Worth the money. No more running up and down the basement stairs.
    Would recommend.
