5 out of 5 stars

Comfortable with good audio and multiple connection options.
I was impressed by the performance and adaptability and comfort of these headphones. When I first glanced the box, I panicked that they were designed for extremely young children – the box was that small! Thankfully, that was just an example of how compact they can fold. Inside the box, you get the headphones, a fabric carry bag, USB-A to USB-C charge cable, and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable. The charge cable is a less than 2' long and can be replaced by any generic USB cable that terminates in USB-C to connect to the headphones. I connected and tested these via bluetooth connection on a PC. The audio quality is excellent. It doesn't pose any challenges to my Arctis 7.1ch headset, but these are not cheapo budget headphones. The ANC button is easy to find while wearing the headset. The effectiveness of the *active* noise canceling is minor. The effect is noticeable, particularly for kind of normalizing and toning down (suppressing) outside noise, but it isn't as good at eliminating external noise as my AirPods Pro 2 (which cost literally 4x more). These are over ear headphones, so even without the ANC, there is a fairly high degree of noise cancellation. No info on charge time or longevity. They arrived with 100% charge. The included 3.5mm cord and connectivity is important swapping between Chromebooks/laptops as these are at their best in classroom or daycare settings when you want to set children to a task. Regarding comfort and fit, these are extremely comfortable for me as an adult with glasses. Honestly, I didn't think there was a chance they would get around my head, but they expand quite a bit (about 1.5" on each side). There is no discernible pressure on my head, temples, or glasses. I could comfortably wear these all day. There is an instruction booklet with multiple language support, but it is primarily English. The directions are clear. The buttons are intuitive, but the instructions make everything very clear very quickly.

When I first unboxed the iClever Auraa headphones, I was impressed by how sturdy they felt for something designed specifically for kids. The purple design with LED lights adds a fun touch, and the build materials—stainless steel arms and a reinforced headband—make them feel like they can handle being tossed into a backpack or dropped a few times without breaking.

Set-up was simple, pairing quickly with Bluetooth 6.0, and the connection stayed stable even when moving between rooms. The volume cap at 80 dBA is a reassuring safety feature, especially since these are meant for kids, and the Sound Refiner tech helps keep the sound quality rich without those harsh frequencies that can cause ear strain. The active noise cancelling surprised me—it actually cuts down flight and background noise enough to make long trips more peaceful.

Battery life is another highlight. With ANC on, the headphones last well over a day of regular use, and the fast charging really delivers—10 minutes for hours of play is ideal for travel. Even when the battery dies, the wired option keeps them usable, which avoids those “headphones are dead” meltdowns on flights. Comfort is solid too; the cushioned earcups and wider headband spread pressure well, making them wearable for hours without complaints.

Pros: safe volume cap, effective noise cancelling, long battery life with fast charge, sturdy kid-proof build, fun LED lights. Cons: bulkier than basic kids’ headphones, and the LED lights cut into battery life if left on too long.

Overall, these are perfect for kids who travel often or use headphones daily for school, iPad time, or flights. They strike a good balance between safety, durability, and real performance features you usually only see in adult headphones.

Fun safety and performance are all excellently combined in the iClever Auraa Active Noise Cancelling Headphones for Kids. With tablets and iPads the Bluetooth 6.0 connection is dependable and seamless, and the LED light up design is a big hit with kids making them more entertaining to use. I particularly value the 80dBA safe volume cap because it provides comfort in knowing that young ears are shielded while yet allowing for clear well balanced music.

The Type C quick charging is incredibly practical for travel and the battery life is outstanding lasting up to 47 hours on a single charge. For children the noise cancellation feature does a respectable job of reducing background noise so they may concentrate on their games music or films without turning up the volume. They are comfy and lightweight, so extended listening sessions are not problematic.

The only drawbacks are that the noise cancellation is not as good as it is on adult models and if the LED lights are left on all the time, the battery may drain a little more quickly. They are secure fashionable and long lasting which is almost everything for children's headphones. I would give them an overall rating of 4.3 stars since they are a dependable and kid friendly set of wireless headphones that strike a balance between fun and safety.

For a kid, these are great. The sound quality is actually pretty decent and battery life is amazing.

The design and build quality are a bit lacking g, though. They are quite cheap feeling and I'm concerned about the durability. For the price, it's fine, though.

The noise cancellation is ok. You can definitely tell a difference, but it's not the best. And the volume limit could be lower. They get uncomfortably loud for me, as an adult.

Still, it's a decent set of headphones for the price. I think you could get better value out of a similarly priced name-brand set, though, considering the volume isn't sufficiently limited for kids, anyway.

    Fun for kids

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 25, 2025

Color: PurpleAmazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

These headphones are clearly aimed for at younger children that teens or adults, everything about them screams that.

The colouring of the headphones is very baby pink and sky blue, with some, pink and blue galaxy swirls on the side, I do quite like this touch. There are another two swirls inside the heart shapes on the outside of the cups, these actually light up, though they stay on and do not flash or anything.

Construction is largely plastic, though they do feel pretty tough compared to many, so they should take some rough handling from children. The pads are foam, and it is a reasonably firm foam. The pads do not appear to be replaceable.

As for size, these are targeted at children and so are smaller than most, I do have a big head however, and I can get them on, though the cups are on the small size for my ears, they will be fine on even smaller adult ears.

Sound is quite mid and bass heavy, more towards the mids. Highs are very recessed, and acoustic guitars lack any sparkle from the top end. The sound is also not overly detailed, and is on the muddy side. There is no app for them, and no way to EQ them specifically. The volume is limited to 80dB, which still feels loud, once you reach this limit, any further presses will give you the message "maximum volume" for each time you pressed the button, so if you rapidly press it 10 times, which I am sure no child would ever do, you have to sit through the message 10 times.

The battery seems good, in my testing I got to five and a half hours before I called it a night, and these had plenty of charge left in them. So easily enough to get through most trips out.

The ANC is surprisingly decent, massively reducing external noises like aircraft cabin noise, and other people talking. This does mean that your child is unlikely to hear you talking to them.

On the whole, I would say these are okay for children, the audio quality isn't the best, but the ANC is pretty decent, and they look very child friendly.

This is a brilliant pair of headphones.
The headphones came in a really nice looking retail box and inside a dust bag, and a USB charging lead and a jack lead. They connect well via Bluetooth but they are also able to be used via the jack lead even when they are not charged. This was super handy on a recent plane journey.

The sound is great and they are ideal for smaller heads, but they also extend enough for a larger head. Build quality is excellent and these are ideal for children.

I ordered these for my daughter, and she absolutely loves the vibrant design and LED light up feature, which makes them a standout for her. They’re comfortable for long wear and feel well made, with a durable build that can handle her active use. Pairing via Bluetooth was a breeze, connecting in seconds to her tablet with a reliable, dropout free connection. The option to use the included aux cable is a great backup if the battery runs out. Features like ANC, volume control, a multi-function button, charging indicator, Type-C port, 3.5mm audio port, and built-in microphone are impressive, though she mostly controls playback via her tablet or phone. The sound quality is good, with a safe volume to protect her ears. The ANC reduces background noise but the real selling point is the eye catching design and LED lights. The battery life is good, though the price feels a bit steep.
