Impressed! Good battery life, responsive, great apps, fast
I am so impressed by this tablet. I was not expecting something this good. The speed and responsiveness of the tablet is great. The drawing aspect is really pretty good. There are certain features that are either paid or you have to watch ads to use them for free for 4 hours. I was slightly annoyed by this at first but for my use it's not bad. First off there is a good variety and quantity of stuff that's already included in the drawing app. Second, if I did want to unlock it by watching an ad, 4 hours of drawing is a pretty good amount of time. It also has a great pen feel when drawing on it. The specs on the tablet stated that it had a good battery life (usage and standby) and that is true. I downloaded some other apps I use (reading and games) and they work really well on the tablet as well. I also want to expand the storage and love that I have that capability as well. A little design aspect I love is the slot behind the pen which makes it easy to pop out- fantastic. I have used but never owned common brand name tablets. This is way better than all basic android tablets I have used. The matte screen is nice, I don't feel a loss of color or clarity with it. This is a great value overall for everything you're getting with the size, android 14, space and extendibility, and speed.

I really love this tablet. The only complaint I have is that it picks up my hand movements even with a glove on and moves my drawing while I am actively trying to draw, but that could be something I am doing or need to fix in the settings or something. Otherwise it is so easy to use and travel with, and very worth the price. This is my second Huion purchase, and I am super happy with both.

Overall is good. Worth the money.
Just that for drawing, it is not as good as the drawing tablet. The pen feels a little unstable and delayed. You are still able to draw a decent work, but more detailed work will be a bit challenging.

My daughter really likes this tablet as I'd say an "intermediate" drawer. The only thing she has complained about on it is that if you are attempting to make a straight line even with a ruler can be difficult. it doesn't seem to have enough points to properly do it but honestly if you are giving this to a younger kid they might not notice. Comparing it to a bit more expensive tablets though this might not be as good of a comparison if I'm being honest. The only comparison I have honestly is a 160$ tablet and a $1200 tablet.. The $160 tablet has the same processor and memory but not as good of a screen. Of course the $1200 tablet smashes literally everything so no real comparison. I question if an iPad might do better on this but the matt screen does provide some "drag" that my daughter enjoys. It is well made and comes with a case and pen. The screen is decently responsive but it does have a slight delay when drawing with the pen though my daughter hasn't complained about this. It charges quickly and overall she does really like it so you might give it a shot. It definitely seems to work well with intermediate and below drawers and it's also a tablet as well so you can put family link on it and lock it down a bit.

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

This is essentially a fancy Android tablet, with a stylus pen and an improved "nano-etched" screen which eliminates reflective glare for comfortable viewing even at different angles while using it as a drawing pad. Although not full IPS, I found the image bright and clear even at somewhat sideways angles and had no trouble drawing even when not facing it head-on. At 1920×1200 HD resolution this definitely looks good, and the sharp pixel contrast made even brush-style strokes look really fine in my sketches. The 90Hz refresh rate is very fluid, not quite as much as 120Hz like you might have on a high-end phone, but still very good. The included stylus was responsive and easy to work with, and does come with a few extra plastic nibs, but remember to charge it first- it has a battery inside as well and the pen doesn't work with touch alone. The included artist's glove to prevent smudging the screen was comfortable and worked great, just be aware that it is really made for those who are right-handed, it doesn't fit on the left hand quite right.

There are a fair amount of included drawing apps (ibisPaint X, Clip Studio, and HiPaint), and they are pretty good, but many of the extra brush options are locked behind paywalls and the mainstream drawing software I normally use (Krita, Blender) can't be used on here since it doesn't come in Android app versions. Compared to a full Windows or Mac-based drawing tablet I do feel like being limited to Android "apps" versus full software is frustrating, but this is more of a travel model than one intended to replace your main studio drawing pad, and it does great for sketches on the go.

The tablet's folding case also doubles as a kickstand, and it is adequate, but only for streaming media- if you try to use the stylus against it while standing the kickstand will just collapse under even a little pressure. For actually using this to draw you'll need to hold it, lie it flat or just use a higher, more rugged stand like one made for a laptop, so you don't have to keep your neck bent down so far looking at the screen sitting at desk-height level. Using a folding adjustable laptop stand I had in spare to actually lift this up when in use made drawing a lot more comfortable than relying on the stand it comes with alone.

The tablet itself is very responsive, it never froze up or crashed even when drawing very detailed 4k images, and the battery life was excellent, I used it at full brightness for over four hours and the battery was still just over 53% full, so it will certainly do for a typical day of on and off use as inspiration finds you.

As a tablet this did fine for the usual things like checking email, streaming videos and music as well as 2D-games. The graphics processor was capable of any 2D-task I threw at it handily, but it is not a 3D-oriented "gaming" device and you shouldn't expect it to do much in that space. I did quite enjoy the feeling of versatility, switching between drawing and tablet use easily on the same device. The included case has a holder for the stylus pen, so this is pretty smooth feeling to switch between drawing and web browsing or media streaming as desired without skipping a beat.

The built in camera is a little bit disappointing, though, at just 13MP for the rear lens images are only "good"- I would have loved something with at least 20MP or more, since taking pictures of interesting scenery to refer to later while sketching it is one of the coolest things to use this for. I wouldn't say the pictures this takes are bad at all, just not really "superb".

Having had this for a month now, some of my initial misgivings are still there, but overall my enjoyment of it has grown steadily. There was some initial frustration being limited to "apps" only for software, and the paywall for expanded brush options behind most of the drawing software this came with or that I could find was irksome, but this really does respond to the stylus fluidly, without skips or lag, and I did end up enjoying drawing on here quite a lot once I got used to it. The real strength here is versatility, this is both a decent portable drawing pad and an excellent tablet, covering pretty much everything you need without the awkward bulk of carrying around a laptop. The built in camera is just okay, but it is still a very convenient way to save reference material for later when it's easy to refer to. No, this won't replace your main drawing pad in your studio, but for sketching on the go, it actually surprised me with how easy and convenient it was to work with, and in the end I'm glad I chose it.

Glare-free & easy on the eyes, tablet fast, stylus is great, kickstand not good for drawing, though

    A great portable drawing tablet

Reviewed in Canada on May 27, 2025

I got this tablet to replace my Ipad since it was getting old. One thing I love about this tablet is all the accessories it comes with. I remember having to buy a seperate pen, case, matte screen protector, and gloves with other tablets. Which is all included with this tablet. I love the expendability of storage, and the paper-like matte screen is great. The pen is light and pairs instantly and I'm happy it comes with a button for quickly switching into my eraser tool. I like that I'm able to just take this tablet anywhere and quickly pull out the pen.

I was worried about the screen real estate, since it was only 11inches, but it was plenty big enough for me to splitscreen for putting up references. The tablet itself is snappy and stock android 14 is a great. I've been using Huion tablets since there were AAA batteries in their pens, this one does have to be charged with usb c but I prefer this design of plugging it into the cable directly than to the tablet.

Overall, I think this is a great choice for those who want a affordable but high qualitty drawing tablet, I especially like the built it matte screen and I find it so much better than applying a screen protector myself.
