Amazing and affordable tablet compared to other expensive brands
Huion H610 Pro V2 Graphic Drawing Tablet Tilt Function Battery-free Stylus and 8192 Pen Pressure with 8 Pen NibsEDIT July 2022: Still using this tablet! No issues have come up since my first purchase in 2018. I've used up the last of the nibs, but the tablet still functions as before. This tablet has definitely outlasted it's price.EDIT March 2020: I'm still using this product and I still stand by my rating. Still works like the first day I had it. The plastic protector is still holding up and the pen still works perfectly fine!! Just wanted to give an update that this is still a GREAT tablet to get if you don't have the money for the newest Huion or a Wacom. If you dont want to read my novel of a review below here's the quick version of my review for this tablet. I thoroughly enjoy using this tablet. It does exactly what I want and I didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars for it. If you are a student, hobbyist, or professional who wants to draw/3D model/whatever else with a tablet, I definitely recommend this. As someone who uses a Intuos 4 at work, this is definitely comparable, if not better than the Intuos, mostly because of the price and it works flawlessly with Windows latest update.**Pros / Cons of Product:**+ Price+ Size overall and size of drawing surface is perfect+ Came with drawing surface protector that was extremely easy to apply+ With drawing surface protector on, doesn't feel rough and no scratches after heavy use+ Has pen holder and 8 pen nibs+ Pen pressure levels+ No recharging the pen (as other Huion tablets you do have to)+ Works with latest Windows Update and Windows Ink can be disabled+ Can customize orientation of tablet and disable buttons in the software+ Simple to set up software- Tablet and pen feel really lightweight, wouldn't want to put much weight on the pen for fear of it breaking- Can't save button configurations for multiple applications- Pen loosely stands in pen stand I will be updating the longer I use this product, but I believe this tablet works extremely well for me, and hope others will find my review pretty thorough so they can decide whether they'd like this product as well.:)I use a Wacom Intuos tablet at work 40+ hours a week for the past 5 years doing 3D modeling and texturing. Never been able to think the price of a Wacom was worth getting one for myself at home. I began researching alternative brands and ran into the Huion website. Found the products to be extremely affordable and the reviews I read on their products on other sites (Amazon, Reddit, art forums) were always well and were comparable to Wacom. Decided to take the dive and buy this new H610 Pro V2 tablet, mostly because you don't have to recharge the pen (unlike the other Huion tablets), and the size fit on my desk at home. I typically become skeptical of smaller brands with oddly affordable prices, but I decided the price was worth a shot at least try it. After using it for a week, here is what I've found about the tablet.** Extensive Review**I do have to admit, when I first unboxed the tablet I immediately thought of this: "Wow this is extremely light." I'm not sure what materials are used for this, but it is definitely a lighter-weighted plastic than the Wacoms. Even the pen feels kind of light and empty, like even the thought of sitting on it could break it. It's not an extremely bad note just something that I immediately noticed. The pen is comfortable to hold and the buttons work extremely well. I have small hands and I actively use the nib and two side buttons for work and browsing the web and haven't found anything unusual about the pen. There is no eraser button at the top end of the pen, but I wouldn't have used it anyway even if it was there. Extremely responsive and fits my hands well and I actually like how light weight it is. It does feel a bit loose standing in the pen holder, but it's not that big of a deal to me. Also comes with 8 extra pen nibs in the pen holder and its great you don't have to charge this pen, its battery-less. When I'd doodle in Photoshop, it never stuttered or lagged and was extremely responsive to pressure and button presses. The entire tablet size is about 9.5" x 14". The drawing surface is a full 6.5" x 10". As you can see in the pictures I attached, whatever is made to look like the drawing surface, is the actual drawing size. It's not a subsection of drawing surface like the Wacoms. You can draw to the entire edge of that drawing surface, it even gives you some leeway and recognizes if you go over the drawing surface and onto the tablet surface. You are however able to customize the size of the drawing surface in the software if you feel thats too much drawing space for you. There are soft touch buttons on the drawing surface, but I don't ever use those and intentionally covered them with the drawing surface protector that Huion provided with the product. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the soft buttons before I attached the protector, which by the way was extremely easy to attach and the texture of it is great and not extremely noisy or rough. It has firmly stuck to the surface and I dont notice it when I'm actively drawing. You can see in a pic I have it lifted so you can see the actual surface. There are also buttons on the side of the tablet with some pretty cute icons. I don't really use the buttons because I work in a 3D program called Maya, I have to use keyboard shortcuts more than premade buttons on the tablet. So unfortunately won't be able to say much more about that. Now I am going to tell you the selling point which really pushed the tablet to be 5 stars…. it WORKS PERFECTLY WELL WITH THE LATEST UPDATE OF WINDOWS AND WINDOWS INK!!! I have had problems with the Wacom tablet at work to work on the latest update of Windows and Windows Ink. I thought it was on my end, but upon researching found that a lot of people have been having the same issues since one of Windows recent updates. Those issues make it impossible to work on Windows right now, but here I am… able to work with this Huion tablet. Thank you thank you thank you to the Huion employees who was able to figure out how to get the tablet to be functional again with Windows. I can DRAG internet browser windows, I can RIGHT CLICK in internet/desktop browser, there is no lag when I right click anywhere, it works perfectly well and I'm actually able to work..Also, the software used to set up the tablet is extremely simple to set up and I'm able to customize how I set up my tablet. Example, I have my computer tower on my right side, and the tablet has the USB cord on the left side. At first I thought I was going to have an ugly wire run across my desk, but I found I can turn the tablet 180 degrees and tell the software thats how I have it, and it works! I can turn off any and all buttons on the tablet and pen, I can have the tablet work on only one screen or both, can turn off Windows Ink, have it screen ratio'd to my monitor set up, or even make a custom drawing area. It would be nice if you can make changes to the button set up according to what program you have open, but I'm just happy it works for me in general.

Thank you for your feedback

I have an old Wacom Intuos 3 I bought a decade ago. The intuos never worked very well with any of my computers. In photoshop it refused to implement pressure and seemingly the drivers would stop working randomly, forcing me to restart.
Finally I chose to purchase the Huion HS610. I was trepidant, but at a little over $40, I wasn't risking much.
I was very careful to download the correct drivers and uninstall any Wacom drivers I might have had on my rig.
Almost immediately it worked flawlessly. The pressure control is very good, the shortcuts work (aside for a couple that don't but it's an issue with my software, not the tablet. For instance, I shortcutted Ctrl-SFT-Alt-S (Save for web), and that works great.
However, Ctrl-T (Transform in PSD) refuses to work. Beats me why. It works in another software I have with the same shortcut for the same job. Strange.
Other than that, I am thrilled with this tablet. It's smaller than my Intuos, but that's a plus. It's light and easy to handle.
I added some tall rubber feet sso I can place it over my keyboard, but that's my preference.

It's definitely a good tablet. I am thinking of buying a smaller one for my laptop (Which has a touchscreen and a pen, but it doesn;t work in Photoshop, which is crazy, but it has nothing to do with this tablet).

I am happy with this. I have been using it almost daily since I bought it a few months ago and I haven't had any issues with it. A few more shortcut keys would be nice, but for the price it's fantastic.

For the record, I had an old ipad Bluetooth slim keyboard and I rigged it to stay above the tablet on my drawing surface (A variable incline I built with pressboard and hinges). That's a lot easier tha n suing the regular keyboard for shortcuts I can't fit on the tablet. I even have a keyboard the size of a cellphone and I have integrated that too in my drawing/editing workstation.

    TL;DR: It's a very good drawing tablet.

This is a great graphic tablet for the price. I recently purchased another brand, very popular brand, as a gift for my little sister and I have to say that even though her graphic tablet was more money than mine, I believe mine is a lot better and I should've gotten two of these instead.
I wanted to add a picture of something I drew to help support my review but, unfortunately, I have lost quite a bit of my artistic ability over the years and am trying to use this to get back into the habit of drawing with my wife (she sketches daily).
I don't want to really get into anything spec-wise since you can read those right in the description.
First, I wanted to give the only two things that disappointed me about this tablet.. it didn't work with my laptop out of the box due to windows compatibility (I had 7 installed, min is 8) and it doesn't work with my android. The reason I'm not rating lower than 5 stars for either of those is because I know that on the Huion website as well as the description, it lists the compatibility as Windows 8, 10.. and some stuff for Mac so that's not their fault. Also, it is not common for a graphic tablet to work at all on an android so I was just hopeful for that one (portability reason but battery would be horrible).
    Now, what I do like..
Response time on this is great- There is absolutely no lag time from the graphic tablet to the screen excluding when you have the size of your brush set really huge and even then, that's the program freezing up my six year old 1.6 dual core laptop, not the Huion tablet.
Size- This one is in the description but I just wanted to mention that this is a larger tablet and my old tablet was a small 3×5 (??? Maybe..) one and although it worked okay for the time, I feel like a larger graphic tablet really makes it feel more natural.. I can't word this right.. but basically, how much you move your hand, draw on the tablet, is much closer in size to your screen, in other words, drawing on a 3×5 graphic tablet might feel more natural looking at a 4×6.5 screen but nobody wants to use a tiny screen like that. I can lay this tablet down over my keyboard on my laptop and it's pretty much the same exact size of the bottom part of my laptop.
Lastly, so I don't drag this on too long.. buttons. At first, I wasn't sure how I would ever use 8 buttons on a tablet. Two on a pen, yeah, but 8 on the tablet? No.. now, I realized how useful they all are. Something specific I think is cool, using one button as Ctrl will actually allow you to remap it as 14 buttons pretty much. What I mean is, I use the two buttons to increase and decrease the pen size to do just that but when I hold the button I assigned to Ctrl, I can hold that and press the resize button and rotate my canvas instead.. I'm not sure if this is normal for a tablet but I love it.

Anyway, I think this is well worth the money and I like it so much that if I do decide to buy a graphic tablet with a screen in the future, I'll stick with Huion.

This HUION graphics table is very nice, and with a little big of configuration it works perfectly on Linux too.

The battery-less pen is nice, no need to change batteries ever. The pressure sensing is fairly smooth and the pen comes with 8 extra nibs hidden in the pen stand in case you wear yours out. The drawing area is large (about 6×10 inches) and the buttons can be configured to perform whatever functions you need, like copy/cut/paste, undo, switch tools, etc.

To get this to work on Linux, get the "Huion H610pro – DIGImend" drivers from github and install them according to the info on the github page (digimend.github.io). In my case, I only want the tablet to only be active on my main screen and I also want the tablet orientation switched to reverse the up/down, I use these lines to do that:

xsetwacom set "HUION Huion Tablet Pen stylus" MapToOutput HDMI-1
xsetwacom –set "HUION Huion Tablet Pen stylus" Rotate half

(Rotating the orientation allows me to turn the tablet so the cord is on the right, out of my way.)

All in all, this is a great drawing tablet for the price and I'd recommend it. It's easily the equal of tablets that two or three times as much.
