It’s pretty cool and it works
I was a little surprised that this little box worked so well. As another stated, it takes a little work getting it right behind the net so it sees the puck well enough. Would be easier if you could mount it to the glass or boards, but it would get destroyed pretty quickly! Uses USB C to charge which is cool. Voice announcement is loud and clear and the numbers are giant. They disappear pretty quick so you better be watching if you’re having a contest with anyone. I didn’t get the phone app, no real use for that, for me at least. I can see it would be helpful if your on a training routine. I’m not a fan of the whimsy plastic tripod it mounts on. That needs to be a little more robust in my opinion. And one last thing. What is the cell phone stand or the little remote for? Still haven't figured that out. Overall it’s really good for the price.

    Lots of fun. Seems fairly accurate, I can throw a ball at it gently and it constantly measure about 20mph. I have no way to test it's absolute accuracy but it seems self consistent. I don't have any problems getting it to register as long as the puck is in the net. Love that it uses usb-c, and I have not tried the app.

    When I opened the box, I was surprised to find no instructions. It took a while to figure out how to set it up and how to get my phone in the stand. One of the screws didn't fit so I had to use one of my own.

    However, once I got it set up, it was great! Fun to use, and seemed accurate. The only trick is to stand back far enough or the hockey stick swing speed is measured rather than the puck speed.
