    No instruction is included with the unit! Doe's the panel wires hook directly to a battery. Please send me a copy of the instructions? I purchased this unit believing, that when you mount the solar panel facing the sun, and attach the wires correctly to a (12) volt battery, the unit will be a trickle charger for maintaining a charge in the battery! My battery is a standard, fully charged auto 12 volt battery. The battery is for running a game camera, which, draws very low current! Normally, the game camera uses (8) each double (A) batteries, it was my intent to not half to purchase all those, very expenses batteries every two weeks. That is why I purchased this solar unit! Please have the manufacture or the dealer get back to me ASAP?

    Bought this solar panel to keep my deer feeder battery charged up. Prior to installing I tested the panel with a voltmeter and it is in fact putting out voltage while in the sun. I haven't tested the battery yet since its been running, so anxious to see if its keeping up with the load.

    Much smaller than I anticipated, I didn't read the add as well as I should have, dimensions were given in the add. That being said, I added a $10.00 regulator, and have it installed on my pontoon boat to charge/maintain the trolling motor battery. So far so good. Unit is well built and appears to be totally weatherproof. Comes with a nice mount and hardware. Just smaller than I anticipated. my fault .JRO

    Well packaged item with short cycle life

    Plan was to use this solar panel when building a third deer feeder. Two other feeders have been operating for over 15 years with no problems. During installation I checked the panel and it was putting out less than 12 volts and was returned for replacement. Second (replacement) originally put out 13+ volts and was installed. Eight months later when I was doing my regular checking for corn level, it was not working. Checked feeder and battery was discharged to 3.7 volts which is non functional. Checked solar panel on bright sunny day and got “0” volt output. I am not sure what went wrong, but two malfunctioning panels from same supplier is not a good indication of quality products. With two feeders still having solar panels still charging batteries after 15 years, the new panels presumably are constructed with super marginally acceptable China made parts as country of origin was China. Since many companies buy from same overseas supplier and relabel their parts with different names, it is difficult to determine who is the manufacturing source. I am going to look for a different configured or designed solar panel which hopefully will be a different manufacture. Price is important but so is my time screwing with defective merchandise after the warranty expires and you have to rebuy.
