This is a must have accessory for your meta quest 3s headset.
This strap is light years ahead of the stock strap and I could not live without it.
It was very easy to install and it fits both the headset and my head great.
The click wheel is very easy to adjust and to get nice and tight and equally easy to release.
It holds my 3s very secure unlike the original strap which I found to be almost unusable.
The back cushion feels great to the touch and it feels very comfortable, the rubber material feels nice and soft and textured.
The battery life is good but it could be better, it's only 6,000mah.
The battery is removable though so if you find a second battery you can swap them out which is nice.
It's very easy to pop off the back cushion and to swap out the battery.
The top strap cushion feels great too and it is very comfortable and soft and the Velcro is really easy to adjust.
The color and build quality feels great and it looks very stock, even the packaging matches the original box.
It feels well made and very sturdy an the color of the plastic is a great match to the 3s too.
It adds a lot of functionality and value to the meta 3s and it is an absolute must have.

I got this for my son's Meta Quest 3 (though the entire family likes to use it). Compared to the original head strap that came with the Meta, this is a big upgrade. It is much more comfortable. Even without the benefit of the battery, the head strap itself is a big improvement. What we like about it:
Installation: Very easy to install. You detach the side straps on the existing Meta head strap from the face piece, and the side arms for this strap pop into the same spot. The top strap is then attached to the Meta and the back with Velcro. The instructions say you need to remove the face cushion from the Meta, but we were able to insert the Velcro strap in the front without removing the cushion.
Fit and feel: It easily adjusts for larger or smaller heads by turning the knob on the back of the strap (and adjusting the Velcro on the top strap if needed). For our family of four (two teens and two adults), it fit everyone with just minor adjustments. The cushions on the top strap and back strap are thick and very comfortable – a big improvement over the Meta strap.
Battery life: Battery life is very good. We charge both the Meta and the extra battery at the same time. We use just the Meta battery until it gets down to around 10%, and then plug in the cable from the strap battery to the Meta. Works very well, and we get almost double the play time as before. Charge time for the spare battery does seem to be a bit longer than the Meta battery, but not significantly.
If you're looking for a more comfortable head strap for your Meta Quest 3, with the benefit of extra play time, then this head strap is a great option.

The original strap that comes on the headset is no good. It's seriously the worst. ANYTHING you get that's different will be better, and this is no exception. Only, it's actually GOOD, not just different.
First, let's talk about the fit. IT holds on to the head just fine: it has an over-the-head adjustable band, a nice, humungous pad on the back of the head, the battery balances out the headset (which is actually really nice), and it is easily adjusted. Just turn the knob and it gets tighter and tighter.
When you need extra power, just plug in the cord and away you go. This can more than double the life of your headset's current battery with this. It's super handy.
My only problem: I don't love that it has no display to show me how much battery is left. I just have to guess how much power is left based on how many things I've charged. It's okay, but it could be better.
It works great, It is priced correctly, and it's not the original strap. I love it.

I got this head strap with battery for my 10-year-old son’s Meta Quest 3S, hoping it would extend his playtime and make the headset more balanced. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for us. He had trouble adjusting it to fit correctly and after several attempts we were able to get it to fit his head, therefore there was not an ease of installation. He found it extremely bulky and said it felt like having a weight pressed down on his head. After just a short time wearing it, he developed a headache and didn’t want to use it again. For him, the extra battery life just wasn’t worth the discomfort. The idea behind the design is great, but it may not be the best choice for younger or more sensitive users. He said if he had to rate it, his vote would be 1 star based on his experience, but overall, a 3 for the concept and build quality was nice.
