I'm a dev, and spend a lot of time at my computer switching back and forth between looking in my headset and looking at my monitor. I picked this model specifically because of the claim made in the video shown in the two attached frames, that you can be wearing it like a headset and then flip it up like a visor. This is the only headset I could find that made this claim and the claim that it fits multiple quest headsets. Seemed a little suspicious since other headsets with the same L-shaped bracket at the temples don't make this claim.
It is, in fact, a lie.
Note the change in the angle between the two camera frames in the video. I want to see that second frame from the same angle as the first, because that headset is clipping straight past the strap's headband into her skull. This is true even if you remove the black face mask part and just wear the raw headset. It also takes considerable effort to do any rotation at that joint, with one hand holding the back in place and the second one holding the front headband and headset and pulling them together. And they don't even clear your eyes.
Absolute lie. Trash company.
Now, as a headset ignoring that non-existent feature, it still sucks. The front headband is too far up to properly grip your head with the back strap, so it's constantly just sliding up and back off my head. The materials for the adjustable parts are flimsy and rattle, and the material for the padding is slippery and gross. And most straps also come with replacement faceplates with nose flaps, a necessary improvement over the stock devices, so this one is more expensive based on a lie and you get less value out of it even if you like it for what it is instead of what it claims to be.
