Excellent window cleaning robot!

5 out of 5 stars

Excellent window cleaning robot!
I was skeptical that this robotic window cleaner would do the job well, but this little fellow proved me wrong. I live in a 10-floor skyrise building and cleaning the windows is a scary proposition as you cannot get outside to clean the outer part of the windows at high altitude for risk of falling down or risking your life in the process. Also, the way I used to do it was a mayor pain as I had to use a window cleaner and squeegee with a long squeegee to reach the areas and bending and frequently hurting my back. This window robot cleaner has a very strong suction that will stick to the outside of the window. Even if it loses power there is an internal battery that allows the robot to stick to the window for 20 or more minutes so that you can remove it in case of power failure. There is a need to attach a safety cord to a heavy object in the rare event the robot’s suction is lost, and the robot could potentially fall to the street below hurting someone. Other than that, the robot has two mops, and it has a new feature not present in other window cleaning robots that I was considering. It has a canister that you can fill with water, and it sprays the window surface on-off as it goes doing its job. This is really a time saver. A minor nuance is that, been round, the microfiber mops will never clean the very 90 degree edge of the windows. But it saves time and effort and avoids risking your life by sticking your head and half body out to clean a window on a high rise building so it is totally worth it!! The kit has 5 microfiber mops that you can clean on a cyclical way so that you have mops available all the time. You then attach the robot, and it will go on a pattern of cleaning taking care of most of the windows from that outside part. I could not believe I was able to sip some coffee while the robot window cleaner was doing the same job that I used to do quite painstakingly. Now I can use this robot cleaner on a every two- or three-weeks schedule, achieving a rather impressive clean window with not much effort at all. I recommend this wholehearted, and the price is also quite affordable, so you won’t need to shed a lot of money for this guy, Go get yours!

    Mapping feature:
Was skeptical but it works. Would advise pre rinsing outside windows, especially if they are dusty.  I neglected to rinse the first one and it didnt clean quite as well.  Have done six windows today without having to climb on a ladder.

It doesn’t stick to my windows very well because I haven’t cleaned them in years. But once they have a clean surface to adhere to, it does an amazing job of helping to keep them clean. The unit is far heavier than I anticipated, but it does come with a cord to help secure it on your curtain rod in case suction is loss somehow. It’s extremely easy to use. You simply fill with the cleaning solution, attach the security cord to the unit and curtain rod, press the on button, and away it goes. It even gives a tweet to alert you the job is complete. It cleans glass even better than I do and without streaking left behind, so the quality of cleaning is top notch. Once fully charged, it can clean around 5 medium sized windows in little to no time on a single charge so battery life is no issue with this baby.

Summary, battery life- excellent, functionality-excellent, quality of work- excellent, freedom of unit- fair, value for your money- good, size- a bit cumbersome.

Would I recommend this? Yes, without a doubt if windows are fairly clean to begin with. Not good for people with issues of strength in their hands

The only thing I don’t care for is I wanted one that was truly cordless and this is not.
Also, it’s a very picky unit in that it can’t use winded, vinegar, or other items in use to using when cleaning glass.

Simple to use. Put in water, put on pads, plug in power cable ,put in top left corner of window and hold power button.

It suctions to the window and moves around. It gets the window a little cleaner than before, but definitely not spotless. It is super loud, so you don’t want to be in the same room when this is doing its thing. You have it clean the same window two or three times gets acceptable results. It can’t ever reach the corners because of the round spinny things. In my opinion, by the time you restart this thing a few times and clean the spots it missed, you might as well have just cleaned the window yourself. And you would have a better result.

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

I have spent several hours working with this robot in indoor and outdoor conditions. It is pretty impressive for a simple robot. It adheres to glass surfaces, even really dirty ones with no problem. It is fairly intuitive to use, with clear instructions, and there is at least one YT video showing how to use it. It moves up and down in a more or less logical pattern, and uses the raised edges of window frames to tell it to stop and reverse directions (so didn't work on frameless shower door). My windows (interior and exterior) are a lot cleaner after using this than before. I did have to manually touch up some streaks, and of course the round pads don't get into the window corners. It comes with six sets of washing pads (machine washable) which is good because once the set you're using gets dirty it quickly causes smearing and streaks. I went through all six sets cleaning 6 largish windows inside and out 2 times each. One other thing to note is that it sprays a light mist of cleaning solution onto the windows as it goes along. No problem indoors, but outdoors, it's slightly breezy, so the mist went into the air instead of onto the glass.

So I will say I was actually very impressed with this. I didn’t really expect it to work as good as it does. It really make cleaning the outside windows a breeze.it was easy to use and didn’t fall off. The speed function is great. I would definitely recommend as it takes to extra work out of it and reduces the aggravation of cleaning hard to reach windows.
