    If you think about it, this Eyelash lamp was designed for beauticians that need to have good lighting while applying eyelash extensions or makeup tattoo. This means that it is very important for the light to provide consistent lighting without flickering and have the ability to adjust the color to reduce eye strain over a long period of time. In addition, the crescent shape allows the light to apply even lighting to the face from all angles.

    When I saw this lamp, my mind went in a different direction. The crescent shape actually makes this lamp stand out and quite unique-looking. Realizing that it can also reduce eye strain, I knew this was perfect for the reading nook I was putting together in my room where I had tatami flooring and a floor chair.

    Installation of this lamp was easy. Simply screw the lamp sections together and it's done. I've had other lamps where the wire was routed inside the tubes which made them hard to deal with. The lamp pieces are separate here so there was not problem. I just need to do a bit of additional wire management to make it all look good.

    This lamp comes with a remote control that can change the lighting color between various levels of amber to white. In light bulb terms, you can go from warm-white to soft-white to daylight and anywhere in between. You can also adjust the brightness and you won't hear any buzzing even when the light is turned low like some bulbs can do. After adjusting the light to my preferred color, I just use the switch on the wire to turn it on and off. I don't really need that remote.

    I love how this lamp looks and how it provides great lighting onto the pages of the book without causing any eye strain. Great stuff!

    The build quality feels cheap and flimsy—definitely not what I expected for the price. The adjustable height is a joke; it doesn’t stay in place and keeps sliding down during use. As a lash tech, that’s incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to work precisely.

    The brightness options are mediocre at best. The light flickers occasionally, and the “cool” and “warm” settings barely make a difference. I also noticed it heats up more than I’d like, which is uncomfortable for both me and my clients during long sessions.

    Worst of all, the power cord is ridiculously short, so unless you’re working right next to an outlet, get ready to buy an extension cord. I’ve also had issues with the touch controls being unresponsive
