I have several Govee Lighting products in my studio, and the new upgraded Smart Ceiling Light is just what I needed. I had the previous ceiling light, which was okay, but did not have the color options, scenes or features that I love in the other products. The new Pro model is MUCH bigger, brighter and looks amazing in my studio paired with two Smart RGBIC Table Lamp 2, and a Glide RGBIC Wall Light. Setting it up in the app is very straightforward, and I was quickly able to add it to scenes and groups, and configure it to control all lights together with Alexa. I can now have matching colors and patterns for work, relaxation or music-matched for when I'm creating or playing in the studio.

I have several Govee products, and they have become my go-to for smart lighting, both inside and out. This bright 15-inch ceiling light is precisely what I needed in my office. The Govee ceiling light is simple and easy to install. The wire connector provided with the light was an unexpected plus. It also comes with various screws and wall plugs for different installation options. Since I was replacing an existing fixture, I didn't need the hardware. I used the supplied wire connectors in place of old wire nuts. Mounting the ceiling plate was a breeze. Mounting the light to the plate was easy. Line up the tabs and turn the light on. The installation took about 5 minutes. If you already have Govee products, you know that once your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and you tap the plus sign in the app, the new device will be detected. Add the device, and you are done. I needed a bright light over my desk that could be controlled using triggers, voice, and my phone. The light is bright, and the different effects are added, plus when connected to DreamView and other Govee products in the office. One thing that would be nice is if the outer white rim around the light were offered in different colors, but I suppose you can paint it if you'd like.

After getting one of these for our rumpus room, we ended up getting a second for our basement: we don't even really need the RGB and smarts down there tbh, we were just so impressed by how crazy bright this gets and the cute little halo around it that adds subtle character.
The govee app really took awhile to warm up to me. I still think it looks and feels kinda janky compared to Hue… but the thing is, govee has always been rock solid in my use and I've never ran into any problems with it unlike my Hue ones.
As a smart light, I like that it handles disconnects well. When the wall outlet switches off, it retains its setting and will use the same settings when I power it back on. No waiting, no lag, no glitch… which is something the Hue this replaced in the basement really struggled with.
The selection of white color tones is excellent. A almost limitless number of options. I was able to match the basement pot lights exactly.
And I've been very happy with the connectivity. I run an ecclatic mix of Google Home, Smartthings and Home Asssistant and have bee able to get these integrated and working well with automations.
Would absolutely recommend these.

Purchased this to replace the Nanoleaf ceiling lights. It is such a big improvement using Govee. So easy to setup Shortcuts using the app. Wish it is brighter for illumination.
