I am pretty invested in the Govee set up and these lights were a great addition. Seamless integrate with the rest of my outdoor lights and provide great light. Very easy to connect with the app and definitely serve the purpose.

We set these up on the back patio at our Airbnb and they completely changed the atmosphere. The colors are bright but not harsh, and the app makes it super easy to switch between warm white and fun colors for different moods.
They’ve held up well outside — even through rain — and the build feels sturdy. Around the fire pit at night, they give that cozy but modern look guests always mention in reviews.
Definitely worth it if you want to upgrade your outdoor space.

Love these lights! Out of all the outdoor string lights that I’ve used these are the best I’ve found. They look very aesthetic, they are easy to set up, and seem like good quality without spending too much money.
Pros: The lights are brighter than any other lights I’ve tried. The colors are rich and deep as well. Pairing within the Govee app was a simple as quickly pressing the power button and they are on.
Cons: The illumination setting is the only way to make these lights as bright as possible. After browsing Reddit and realizing this is an ongoing problem yet to be addressed by Govee this is where these lights lose the one star from me. There is no way to set the lights to say blue and bright white alternating. You only can do dim white and color or full bright with no color options. I would like to see this changed.
The other issue is the plug needs to be protected if it’s exposed. This is simple enough to do, but I wish it was better protected for the outdoor.
Overall I do feel these lights are good minus the fact that Govee won’t fix the brightness issue and would definitely get another set if need be.
PS: if you are trying to set the lights full bright and can’t find the setting go into the app, then press scene, then life, then white light.

Beautiful and easy to set up. And they DO connect multiple strands. One reviewer said they didn't and I'm relieved to report i bought the 96' and was able to very easy connect the 2 48' strands.
