This fitness watch has potential, but its reliability is lacking.
First off, it shouldn’t be called a fitness monitor if it can’t even track heart rate during workouts. It displays my heart rate throughout the day, but as soon as I start exercising, the heart rate function goes blank and stops monitoring. So if you’re looking for a watch to track workouts, this isn’t the one.
The blood pressure readings are hit or miss—sometimes they match my cuff monitor, but other times they’re way too high. That’s somewhat understandable for a watch, but still worth noting.
Another issue is the language and unit settings. I’ve set mine to English, imperial, a 12-hour clock, and Fahrenheit, but whenever I check certain modes for more info, they revert to Chinese, metric, and a 24-hour clock. Since I don’t understand the language, those screens aren’t useful. Similarly, the water tracking feature only uses milliliters, with no option for ounces. I’m not going to convert my water intake every time I log a drink.
The sleep tracking is also disappointing. I had to get up multiple times during the night to take care of my dog, yet the watch claimed I slept through the night with 0% wake time.
While some modes sync to my Apple Health app, others don’t—even though there’s a section for them.
That said, I do appreciate that it automatically tracks stats throughout the day and night, and I like the option to take quick readings whenever I want. The watch has potential, but these small, frustrating issues make it feel incomplete.
