    This hub was perfect for expanding the available ports on my work Mac. What i love is that i can leave it setting on my desk and it gives me 4 USB-A ports and 3 USB-C ports with easy access. It is black with chrome making it look sleek and classy and blends in nicely with my black desk. The ports share a 10gbs USB-3 port so things can run at full speed but if i use multiple ports the bandwidth would be split. Not a problem but something worth noting.

    This powered USB hub has been a lifesaver for my desktop. Between the 4 USB-A ports and 3 USB-C ports, I finally have room to plug in all my accessories—keyboard, mouse, external drives, headset, and phone charger—without constantly reaching around to the back of the tower.

    Because it’s powered, it keeps everything running smoothly without overloading my desktop’s internal ports. That means stable connections and faster charging for devices, even when I’m maxed out on ports.

    I needed a little bit bigger USB hub, with both USB-A and USB-C ports, to replace an older one (attached to my desktop computer), and this one fit the bill just fine. No problem setting it up and using it. My only complaint is, I wish the power cord were a little bit longer. I didn't measure it, but I think it's about four feet long, and five or six feet would have been better for my particular circumstances; I had to attach it to an extension cord. I'm not using it for anything that requires high speed or fast charging, so I can't really comment on those.

    WARNING: FIDECO USB Hub Lacks USB PD for MagSafe Charging

    Beware: This product will not charge with Apple's MagSafe wireless charger puck, which connects via USB-C and requires a USB PD-compatible adapter. MagSafe needs PD to negotiate up to 9V/2.22A (20W input) for full 15W wireless output.

    This hub only outputs 5V (no PD negotiation), so the MagSafe puck will either not charge at all or default to a very slow rate (e.g., 5-7.5W or less), as it detects insufficient power. Tests with non-PD sources confirm this: MagSafe often fails to activate properly without PD.

    Este hub permite conectar varios dispositivos sin el problema de que te quedes corto. Está alimentado, tiene su cargador, con lo cual podremos alimentar cualquier aparato suficientemente, aunque usemos todos los puertos. Además tiene dos de esos puertos adaptados a carga, es decir, que permite cargar, por ejemplo, un móvil mientras lo usas.

    El adaptador (al que hay que colocar el tipo de enchufe de tu país, en mi caso, España) nos indica que el máximo amperaje que aporta es 3A, es decir, 15W. No está mal, suficiente para mi caja de discos (4 discos 3,5 mecánicos) y más que suficiente para cualquier combinación de ssd, nvme, pendrive, auriculares, etc.

    Según se indica está tasado para USB 3.2 Gen 2, también conocido como USB 3.1, o 10Gps. El USB 3.0 normal (o USB 3.2 gen 1) soporta la mitad (5Gps). De todas formas hay que tener en cuenta que estos son límites teóricos, el límite ee transmisión de una señas tal que las interferencias se mantengan bajo un nivel aceptable, la velocidad real depende de muchos otros factores: placa, cables, velocidad del dispositivo.

    Teniendo en cuenta la velocidad máxima de diseño, el aparato es ideal para discos rápidos (sólidos).

    Por último, tienes varios puertos, en total 7, 4 USB A y 3 USB C, lo que da la flexibilidad para poner varios dispositivos y con distintos tipos de conexiones. Por supuesto, los USB A 3.2 Gen1 son compatibles con el USB 2.0. Su diseño de aluminio facilita la disipación del calor.

    Ottimo prodotto tutto in metallo. Le serigrafie differiscono leggermente dalle immagini del prodotto ma sono, in ogni caso, più che leggibili e comprensibili. Difficile non comprendere la specializzazione delle varie porte. Testato con più apparecchi, raggiunge le velocità di 10Gbps in ogni porta. é in grado di alzare le performance anche di apparecchi con velocità di trasferimento più basse (5Gbps) utilizzzandole al massimo delle loro possibilità. La componente di ricarica (prese usb specifiche) non è certo paragonabile a carica batterie specificatamente studiati ma in caso di emergenza possono essere d'aiuto e sono comunque utilizzabili anche solo per il trasferimento dati. Affinchè si possano apprezzare le performance offerte, e come sempre in ogni settore tecnologico, è necessario disporre di tutta la catena adeguatamente dimensionata (cavi, apparati, etc.). A differenza di alcune recensioni che ho letto, lo trovo molto stabile sulla scrivania malgrado il peso non eccessivo. I cuscinetti di gomma sottostanti fanno il loro lavoro.
