A great projector for a great price
This is a great projector for the money. I got it on sale for $350, but even at the original $500 it would be a good product. The only other projector I've used was much lower quality than this and the brightness and resolution of this product blows the other one out of the water.Here are some of the reasons for this 5 star rating:The auto focus and keystone is great. I have the projector at an angle due to the layout of my apartment, and the auto keystone picked it up right away and gets it just right. Also if you bump it and it goes out of focus or keystone then it fixes it right away.The resolution is good. I'm not really that picky about resolution but my last projector was much lower than this and so I needed the upgrade for use with my ps5.The brightness is also great: I could have the blinds open on a sunny day and still see the screen pretty well. Yeah it's obviously better with the curtains closed and in a dark room, but it does surprisingly well in a bright room. The pictures don't make it look super bright because I have bright lights on and the walls I'm projecting onto are not white or smooth, but I promise it's bright enough to get the job done and then some. Also the projected images shown arent that bright anyway, since they're backgrounds on the ps5 menu (don't mind the mess, I just moved haha). I've had this projector since mid December of 2022 so I can't speak to the bulb longevity but so far it's been great.This has built in wifi and Bluetooth, so I can cast my phone to it with wifi and I can connect to my soundbar via bt so I don't have to run a long aux cord. I haven't used the casting function yet, but if it works as well as everything else then I'm sure it's good.Tech support: I had a dark spot appear on the lcd within the projector this week, so I contacted support and they informed me that it was because there wasn't enough clearance on the side for ventilation, and as a result the screen was overheating. I was originally wanting a replacement product within warranty, and they were willing to, but when they gave me a potential fix I decided to try it and then when it worked I kept it. Also, they told me how to set it so when I turn on the projector, it goes directly to my hdmi input and not the menu where I have to manually select the input. That was helpful because it was annoying to select it every time.The built in speaker is also pretty good for a built in speaker. I haven't gotten around to setting up my soundbar yet after moving and the built in speaker has been working just fine for the meantime for general streaming and such.My one complaint with this product is that the remote doesn't work super well, but it works well enough and it's not nearly a big enough of an issue to take away a star. I just have to point it directly at the projector and be a little more intentional with it and it gets the job done.

    I was looking for a projector on Amazon for hours and there are so many and so many terrible ones under $100 but this one sold me from the reviews and man were they right. I cant speak to its longevity as I just got it but I had another cheap projector I was using and it is night and day. That thing was unusable during the day and text was pixelated and hard to read, this new one just looks like a big TV on my wall and honestly the sound is better than I expected its not a soundbar or a JBL speaker but you can hear words clearly enough and it doesn’t hurt your ears if you want booming sound youll have to connect it to an external speaker but the fact you dont need it to enjoy some youtube or netflix is great I wouldn’t have a problem watching movies with this. The remote is good has all its necessary functions you can control the focus with the remote, its not very big but if you want to put it on a shelf it will need to be a little bit deep as the power cord and anything you plug into it sticks out the back. It does have HDMI CEC so I use my chromecast remote to control it but it wont power the device off, it will turn it on however. Overall its seemingly great and a TV the size of its projection would cost a fortune. If you are in the market you dont have to keep looking this one is solid for the money. if you need somewhere to mount it and you dont have a shelf a tripod base will screw into the bottom like a camera and it can be used that way.

    I was actually shocked on the picture and sound quality from this little guy! No it’s not as good as my tv but it’s pretty darn close and truthfully it’s good enough. I’m using it on a projection screen in my garage for movie nights in the garage. The internal speaker is loud enough and the quality was above what I expected. I thought for sure I was going to need another source for quality sound when watching a movie but the sound was great from the projector for me.

    Very easy to operate and setup. The autofocus works well although I wish there was a little bit more fine tuning that could be done for focusing.

    The only thing I would recommend is getting a male to female adapter/hdmi extension cable if you want to hook up a fire stick. The power port on the back is very close to the hdmi port and you can’t plug the fire stick into the hdmi port without the extension cable.

    Streaming from my phone worked great. I did eventually put a receiver in my garage that had Bluetooth and the projector hooked up to it through Bluetooth no problem so now I can stream the sound through the receiver for even better sound.

    Well worth the money people!

    If you are in the market for a digital projector and like me spent weeks trying to decide which one I am here to tell you that this is THE one!!! We bought this for our sons birthday and for occasional business use (with our sons permission of course). It was not the cheapest and not the most expensive either but let me tell you worth every penny!!!

    First thing we tried was Netflix from my phone. You do need a separate adapter (type C to HDMI) but I already had one. Worked like a charm. Latter that evening we hooked up the DVD player and watched Spiderman Into the Spiderverse projected on the wall. Oh my gosh it looks fantastic in a dark room. Our wall isn't even white and it looked great. Everything we where hoping for!

    The next day on his own with no help from us my son hooked up his Nintendo switch and was having a blast.

    One little point if you have kids explain to them to use the focus wheel gently. At first my son tried to project it on a surface way too close and in trying to focus the unit he jammed the wheel but pushing it too hard trying to focus. I unjammed it and it was fine. Not the machines fault at all. He had just never used a projector before and didn't realize you can't be too close and the wheel doesn't turn 360.

    It is very very easy to use. Looks spectacular in a dark room. Is it super high end? Of course not but do believe what others are saying about it because it is very nice and worth the price.

    Now here is an important concideration this company has your back. When you get your projector there is a note explaining who to contact for suport if you have a problem. Well our unit had a tiny piece of dirt or a flaw I am not sure which inside the machine that was being projected on the screen. It didn't bother my son at all and he didn't want to part with the projector to return it but my husband found it distracting. So I contacted the company as per their instructions and they offered multiple options for resolution for us to choose from. In the end we opted to return the unit for a new one because it is awesome.

    So this long review is not paid for in any way infact I very rarely write reviews. By the way I am the wife of the person whose account this is. My husband has way better grammar LOL. But really this is a really nice easy to use projector backed up with fantastic customer service! I hope that helps some one to make thier decision and ease their mind a little.

    The little YABER projector is a winner 🙂

    Si lo que buscas es recrear el look nostálgico de una película pirata este producto es perfecto.

    En esta clase de proyectores LED no puedes esperar que tenga mucho brillo o funciones avanzadas y dentro de lo que cabe a comparación de otros productos en su misma categoría, este no es un mal producto (ademas de ser estéticamente agradable), pero simplemente el problema es la publicidad falsa dentro de la pagina da a entender que la resolución que utiliza es 1080p.

    Ya al revisarlo en uso, después de la decepción al notar el problema e investigando en diferentes paginas web, encontré que la resolución de este dispositivo es en realidad 720p. Simplemente no sirve para lo que planeaba usarlo.

    Trate de hacer devolución y, mientras si aceptaron empezar el proceso, el costo de enviarlo para seguir con la devolución era mas de la mitad del costo de la unidad misma.

    Simplemente no es viable ya que adicionalmente no me garantiza la devolución de mi dinero ya que depende de una inspección arbitraria del vendedor.

    Pésima experiencia en esta ocasión.

    Excellent Projector by Yaber.
    You can see the upload video where i am playing ps5 game. Initially without lights then lights on and then off. You can judge yourself.

    My Projector is placed at 6ft height 12ft from the wall and Diagonally.
    I would recommend to place it in straight line so both sides are clear.

    Pros-
    Very easy to use.
    In built speakers are nice for a room.
    Quality of image is good without lights and with lights its not that good just like any other projector.
    It has 2 hdmi ports and you need to connect fire stick, ps5 or anything to play on it.
    Also you can Mirror your phone.

    I am writing this review after using it for 3months.
    I am goona buy it again after watching on this you cant watch on tv.

    I am using the projector on plain white wall, also i have used it on Dark Grey black out curtain and i feel the images are much sharper on that.
    Overall an excellent product. 👍🏼
    I recommend it.

    The projector came well packaged and it comes in it’s own self contained zip case. It has a compartment for all the necessary cables and remote and a sleeve for the manual which is comprehensive

    On top there were some simple function buttons that lit up when pressed and they were

    There was also the standard lens adjuster which a used to focus the image depending on distance from screen/wall

    Operation

    The menu is straight forward and pretty intuitive and the projector connected to my Wi-Fi no issues first time, the screen casting worked first time with no issues and there are on screen prompts to aid you with this.

    I bought this to watch Wimbledon in the garden so I connected a firestick and used one of the usbs for power the stick and had no issues. The remote works really well and is easy to use. The projector has a built in speaker and for a projector of this size the built in speaker is actually pretty good, I would caveat that with indoors only, if you are going to use it outside I would recommend a Bluetooth speaker, but you can connect one of these to the projector as well.

    All in all a good little projector, it’s still new and time will tell, so far so good and if there are any issues I will update this review as that is normally something I look out for when reading reviews
