Absolutely Amazing in Every Way!!
Buckle up, this is a long and detailed review. (If you want the summary, here it is: go buy this vacuum now. I had a Roborock S7 which works really well but I moved the S7 upstairs and needed another robot that vacuums and mops since I have carpet rugs, hardwood, and tile. I upgraded and bought the Deebot T30S. I have been using it for about 6 weeks now and it has been an absolute game changer! I have 3 dogs so I always joke that I am his pit crew – filling the water tank, emptying the dust bin, and swapping the mop pad 1-2x a day depending on how much my dogs are shedding. I absolutely recommend it if it’s in your budget. The automatic pit crew station (automatically empties the dust bin, empties the dirty water, refills with clean water, washes AND dries the mop pads) is a an absolutely amazing upgrade that works so well. QUICK SUMMARY PROS: * Quiet even on boost suction * Extremely high suction * Large water tank for mopping * Auto emptying works extremely well * Picks up pet hair without brush tangling * Mapping works extremely well * Able to mark no-mop areas like rugs * Able to go weeks without having to refill the water or change the vacuum bag * Extra mop pads in the box CONS: * Auto emptying and refill can be annoying, (although not very loud compared to previous models) * Must buy replacement dust bags * Mop pads sometimes get stuck on rugs and detach DETAILED REVIEW I have three dogs now dogs ( Siberian husky and a Heeler) two of which shed a ton of dog hair. I also have a doggy door which means mud gets tracked in occasionally depending on weather. Vacuuming and/or mopping everyday is required but not an option for me time-wise. Between that and normal dirt I have Deebot (who I have affectionately named “Clean Elizabeth II” who replaced her successor “Clean Elizabeth I”) vacuum scheduled to run twice a day. This robot vacuum does a great job in every important aspect, from the obvious vacuuming and mopping to ease of setup and a user friendly app. SETUP It was incredibly easy. Out of the box the only thing I had to do (besides remove the plastic) was put on the side brush and mops, and attach the vacuum bag. (The cord and everything else was already out together.) The docking station already had a dirt bag installed so I just had to fill up the clean water tank. I already had the app installed so I quickly added the new vacuum and followed instructions to finish setting up. APP The app is not only easy to use, it has some really neat features that set it a tier above other robot vacuum apps. The vacuum runs an initial mapping run, then actually identified separate rooms automatically (on roborock/roomba you have to manually split rooms by drawing) and allows you to easily name, merge, or split them. Scheduling allows you to set “do not disturb” time to avoid running late at night, the order the rooms are cleaned in, continue cleaning after recharging if the battery is low, and even set the suction level and mopping level room by room. It has options for no-go zones, no-mop zones, etc. There’s are automatic reminders (based on runtime) to fill/empty the water tanks, clean the sensors empty the bin, and replace filters, etc. One new feature I haven’t used much but am testing out is the AI cleaning feature. It intelligently changes cleaning patterns based on things like how much dirt is cleaned up in a room, the type of room/floor (e.g. mops the kitchen floor twice vs 1x in a bedroom). Vacuum / Mop The vacuuming is absolutely perfect. I’m not sure what else to say. It’s about 2x quieter than my Roborock S5, never misses a spot, and cleans my entire house on one charge. I noticed a few rugs it got stuck on due to strong suction and simply set up a marker to avoid that area. The mopping is really good – significantly better than my roborock for two reasons: 1. Duel spinning mop pads do a much better job of cleaning dirt off of tile than a simple mop pad that drags across the floor. 2. There is a setting to heat up the water so it uses hot water to do a better job of cleaning the floor. It detects when the mop is attached and adjust the cleaning accordingly (avoiding no mop zones.). I’ve found it’s especially great for rainy days when my pups track in water or dirt through the doggy door. Docking Station (AKA the Pit Crew) There are so many things I love about this vacuum. The docking station is a one stop shop for everything. It empties dirty water, refills clean water, empties the dust bin, washes the mop pads, dries the mop pads, and can even self clean the docking station! Voice Assistant I haven’t used the voice assistant much, but no doubt I’ll be yelling for “Yiko” to clean up a mess in no time just like I yell for Alexa to turn off the lights. You can tell it specific commands like a certain area to clean (e.g. under the bed, between the sofa and table, clean around the dog bowls, etc.) you can even tell her to clean in “housekeeping mode” which is basically telling the AI to figure out what’s dirty and clean it if you’re too lazy to learn other commands. I keep discovering new little settings and features that add to how much I like this vacuum. I’m more impressed with it the more I use it. I love not having to constantly grab the vacuum and empty the dust bin or fill the water. Go buy this vacuum and I promise it will be the best purchase you make this year.

“Sallie Jo” started her position about a month ago. The interview process was several months of reviewing resumes of hundreds of robovacs. Day one, it took about 10 minutes to get her office set up and sign in to the communications center. I let her take a break and recharge for about three hours. I used that time to get acquainted with the app. It was relatively easy to understand and set up.

The app will let you determine sequence of cleaning, such as vac only, vac/mop at once, or vac then mop, let you decide which rooms will get what when, and virtually tell Sallie Jo which areas to just stay away from-like the hearth- I don’t want her to roll up onto the brick because of the small stones, etc.

Once she was fully charged, I asked her to make a map of the house. Within about 15 minutes she mapped out our entire downstairs (approx 1800 SqFt). It was amazing to see such detail! Unbelievable! It took me about 3 mins to name the rooms on the map.

Before her first clean, I made sure all the dog toys, cords, small items and rugs were picked up because I wanted to do a full deep clean. I set her up to vacuum everywhere well with two passes and then to mop everywhere. You can select how strong the suction needs to be from room to room, how detailed you’d like her to be, etc. I asked her to be as detailed as possible. The process took her several hours to complete. She did an incredible job! The floors were clean, the area rugs were clean. The “dirty water” collection container water was dirty! 🤮. It used about 1/3 of the clean water. I used only water. She cleaned and dried the mop pads as requested. I knew ai had hired the right one for the job!

Her weekly routine is to do a weekly deep clean (sweep and mop everywhere ), a daily high traffic sweep and a weekly mop in high traffic areas. She is always right on time and the daily week takes maybe 20 mins. That deep clean takes several hours because she goes back and forth to dump dust and then discard and refill water while mopping.

Our house is 100 yrs old and the floors get pretty dusty. Top that off with two shedding dogs and it was a daily sweep down for me. We have a combination of hard wood, area rugs and tile. She recognizes the different surfaces and adjusts accordingly. One of the things I cringe about the most is being able to see the dust and such that is under furniture that I couldn’t get to with the broom-but was too lazy to get unless company was coming. I did notice she was not as efficient when she sweeps and mops at once, so I asked her to sweep and then come back to mop. This helped so much with the up and down of the mop pads, and the back and forth to and from her desk. The final result was the same. Just a preference thing. I have not added any cleaning product to the clean water basin, and really haven’t felt the need. I may at some point just because 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Now, after about a month in, and Sallie Jo has gotten into such a good routine, I have a good feel of her work ethic. She follows instructions perfectly! She is never late and completes tasks. Occasionally she has gotten a little confused about where to go and decided the walk in shower needed love as well-but then stayed in there. It seems that she was just not able to get up enough speed from inside the shower to get herself over the little hump to come out. Maybe she was just thinking she’d like a shower and fell asleep waiting..the world will never know. But after telling her not to go back into the shower, she hasn’t again. Such restraint she has!!

Despite the good bit of dust and dog hair that usually graces us on a daily basis, our floors are clean! So far, I haven’t needed to change the dust bag (but I do have to peep sometimes when I want to see just what all she got up). The small collection area with the filter has also stayed pretty darn free of stuff. One rock which is how I learned to keep her away from the brick fireplace hearth. Even with dog hair, my hair, and general whatever it is that just ends up on our floors, I’ve not had to clean the roller one time! The areas under the furniture that you see from several feet away when the light hits it just right? You know, that looks like it would spin into a dirt devil if the wind hit is just right? Sallie Jo took care of it. My sofa was an issue because it is 5” off the floor. Sallie couldn’t get under there because of the Navi that sits on top. I bought new feet and raised it up one inch (small price to pay for a clean floor) and now, she easily cleans under there as well! I do empty the dirty water after mopping just for the smell factor and spray some something in there to help keep it clean. I refill the clean water doo dad every week before deep mop day just to be sure she has what she needs.

All in all, I can say Sallie Jo is well worth her wage. She asked for a bit more than I intended to pay, however it has worked out to be so worth it! I don’t do a lot of floor anything now! I just call Sallie Jo and get her on it. I can’t recommend her enough! You can’t have my Sallie Jo, but I encourage you to get your own!

    Size: T30S COMBOVerified Purchase

One of the best purchases for the house, if not the only one, lol. This robot vacuum has been the best. When I got pregnant, my husband started looking for vacuums that would help make life easier while cleaning the house and found this one after a good research. I think we've had it for a year, and it's been a lifesaver and a life-changer. It cleans very well, is easy to clean, all its parts have lasted quite a while, and you can find generic replacement parts for cheaper, and they work perfectly.
The app to put it to work is super easy to use and smart, the first day the vacuum will scan all your house and then divide them into rooms according to what it reads, but you can go later to edit how you want it to be divided, you can choose which vacuum or mop, or both, choose the levels from minimum to maximum cleaning, I super recommend it.

    Size: T30S COMBOVerified Purchase

Changed to 1 Star: Comes with 1-bag and you can't order new ones. Have ordered 4 separate dust bags on Amazon, including the only one with the right picture, and the bags are all wrong size/dimension. These bags aren't even on ecovacs website. Good luck when the maker doesn't support the necessary accessories…

I read some of these reviews and you can't help but think it is marketing regurgitation from AI bots or maybe RoboVac owners new to the game. Here's an honest review from somebody who has owned almost every RoboVac out there. Our Home => Golden Retriever, Brand New LVP.

Verdict: Don't buy this for the mopping but great as a vacuum & vacuum combo…

    Pros:
1.App [Easy: A] – Easy to map the house, divide the rooms, draw zones etc. Would be nice to link to videos describing the feature toggles

    2. Vacuuming Suction [Great: A] – Other than wifting (see below) and high-battery consumption on max setting, it is better than any robovac I've owned. Zero-Tangle tech works pretty well / not perfect. Wish it had less collisions.

    3. Combo Vacuum [Great B+] – Wish Amazon had the Sku with the Power Brush also included but needs to be purchased separately. Not nearly the power of a Dyson stick vacuum but very convenient & works great for simple messes. I don't plan on using the combo vacuum as a whole house vacuum like you would a Dyson so / perfect for my needs

    3. Setup [A] – Out of box to vacuuming in a few minutes

    4. Shipping[A] – Fast + Nice Packaging.

    Cons:
Mopping wrecks the experience incl. quality, battery life. We see ourselves going vacuum only, swifter mop.

    0. Vacuum + Hair [OK: C+] Only had for less than a week. I'm having to manually service hair that gets caught up in the front swivel wheel, side wheels, and in the roller brush (although better than most). See also#3 why hair gets in mop.

    1. Mopping Quality [Poor: D]: So new home, new LVP floors. I can take a Swifter Mop to any high traffic area the T30S has finished and it comes out dirty for even just a single, simple, 1 foot wipe. Vacuum is definitely better than mopping quality. See also Wetness Con which absolutely contributes to poor mopping quality.

    2. Mopping [Wetness Fades to Dry Mopping: D]: We excitedly follow it around but noticed in the mopping phase, it starts out with "some" wetness eventually becoming bone-dry for a long period of "mopping." This is despite the wetness setting set to MAX. I believe this is why such poor mopping results.

    3. Mopping [Carpet Drag: D]: We have a nice semi-plush rug in Living room. The mopping pad lift isn't high enough so the pads drag even after lift. We tried drawing an exclusion zone in the app for (no mopping) but the problem is the wet pads can still drag in the 1-pass mode. So we now trying the 2-pass mode (vac then mop). 2-pass obviously x2 the battery requirements. Vacuum is now going through multiple recharges throughout the day to finish the home BUT by the time we get to the mop portion it is many, many hours AFTER the vacuuming and the mops getting a bunch of pet hair/rotating on a tiny rock etc. that would not be present in the 1-pass mode (with the aforementioned undesirable dragging wet mop on carpet). Could be better if lift was higher allowing 1-pass cleaning…

    4. Collisions [C]: Even with the Setting "True Detect 3D Sensitivity" set to "High Sensitivity =>Avoid obstacles more sensitivity", the front plate of my vacuum looks like it got into a bumper car fight with my furniture and i've only had it for a week. (See Pic). New home / don't want this thing scratching up my house. if it keeps up, just going to make my own zones avoiding edges and furniture.

    5. Battery [Needs Fast Charge: C]: OK – got this for the 11k Pa suction. High Suction EATS the battery fast that then takes 5 hours to recharge. So with the combination of #3 (2-pass vac then mop setting) and #4 (high suction), it takes many passes and multiple charges to do the home in 24 hours with the aforementioned problem of by the time we get to mop, the vacuum stage of the room was many hours previous = pet hair etc. now stuck in mop. Would be nice if faster charge 4sure. Rated 3 because we can't really use the 11Pa mode in our larger home

    6. Wifting (i.e. pushing away debris it needs to vacuum in its path prior to vacuuming): As the vacuum approaches, we notice the some pet hair etc. can be "wifted" out of the path of the vacuum prior to vacuum suction. Vacuum DOES get majority, but when it leaves pet hair for the mopping stage (which doesn't wift) = mops end up pretty "hair gross" pretty fast.

    7. Feel [Construction: <time will tell>] – main vacuum unit is kinda squeaky & front is marred after only a week. It doesn't seem it will last the test of time. One of those, buy a new one in a year purchases methinks

    8. Initial Box Contents [Need more]: Mentioned a few times, but you don't get any cleaning fluid in the box and only 1-vacuum bag. You'll have to order as a side by side.

You'll have to order as a side by side.

    esta cosa es genial!

    Size: T30S CAREVerified Purchase
