Let's be real – finding a good projector these days feels like navigating a maze of misleading specs and features. After spending some quality time with the Aurzen EAZZE D1, I've got some thoughts to share that might help you decide if it's worth your money.The Good StuffFirst off, can we talk about how nice it is to not need extra streaming devices? The built-in Smart TV OS means you can fire up Netflix or YouTube without messing around with HDMI sticks or cables. It's one of those "why isn't this standard?" features that just makes life easier.The auto focus and keystone correction are pretty sweet too. Remember the days of endless manual adjustments? Yeah, this projector handles all that for you. Set it down, turn it on, and it figures out the rest. It's not perfect (more on that later), but it's way better than the old manual dials.Sound quality surprised me – in a good way. The dual 8W speakers with Dolby Audio actually fill a room nicely. Don't expect home theater levels of bass, but for built-in speakers, they're impressively capable. Movie dialogue comes through clear, and music sounds pretty decent too.Picture quality is solid for the price point. You're getting native 1080p resolution with HDR10 support, which means good contrast and punchy colors. Game of Thrones' dark scenes? Visible. Nature documentaries? Vibrant. In plain English? This projector needs a pretty dark room to shine (pun intended). But in a dark room, the picture sharp and the colors are vivid. During the day, you'll want to get some good blackout curtains. It's fine for evening viewing, but don't expect to use it in a bright room.While it can accept 4K content, everything gets downscaled to 1080p. Most folks won't notice, but if you're coming from a 4K TV, you might spot the difference. The Bluetooth feature is audio-only too, so there are no wireless video connections – just HDMI cables here. The screen mirroring was easy to set up and worked well with my Android S24 phone.Some users have reported hiccups with the initial setup, particularly with Wi-Fi connections. I had no problems getting everything dialed in quickly. I had the system up and running in about ten minutes. I upgraded the software right away. Be aware that it might appear not to be downloading as the percentage of download stays on 1% for a long time, then it jumps up 25% and finishes quickly after that.The Bottom LineThe Aurzen EAZZE D1 is like that friend who's great at most things but has a few quirks you need to work around.     I received the EAZZE D1 projector and had in set up in about 5 minutes. Set up is very strait forward and easy. It is a perfect size if you need to travel and use it for presentations or to use for outdoor movies. Picture quality is good but you will need a relatively low light environment to fully enjoy the picture. The speakers work well for a small to moderate size room. The sound quality is crystal clear. If you need more volume it is easy to connect the projector to a bluetooth speaker. I was able to set up and use streaming services easily. If you are looking for a portable project with built-in speakers for outdoor movies or presentation for work or school, this projector is a great option for the price!

    For context I have an EPSON 5050UB projector in my home cinema, but wanted a small, affordable LED media projector to use in my garage home gym for watching workout videos with music without needing an additional streaming device. This projector surprised me with its image quality and especially sound. Since the sun shines directly into my garage windows in the morning, I had to make foam panels to block the light from coming in, otherwise it's difficult to see the image since this isn't the brightest projector. But at night or in a dark room it works well. The 1080p image is really decent. Combined with the auto keystone correction and auto focus, the image looks really good. As I said the sound especially impressed me. Playing the workout videos on 30% volume is quite loud and has decent bass. The built-in OS is easy to navigate with the remote. Setup was very easy to get it connected to Wifi and sign in to YouTube, Netflix etc. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable, small, easy to set up multimedia projector.

    So having bought an Aurzen boom 3 before Xmas for myself, (which is brilliant by the way), I decided I wanted something a little smaller and more portable for taking on trips and back and forth to my girlfriends so I went for this D1 projector as it was really cheap at £120 and looked like it would fit the bill.
    Like the Boom 3, it was really easy to set up, the power cable is actually better, longer and more stable than the boom, and once you've connected to your wifi off you go. The interface is very similar to it's bigger brother and so easy to sign in and connect to the main apps Netflix, YouTube and Amazon.
    It's a small unit but it's performance really belies it's size (about 25x20cm). The picture is great being 1080p and the sound, whilst not as loud or bassy as the much bigger Boom is actually great for the size of unit, plenty loud enough and some bass thrown in as well, especially on the Music audio setting.
    The settings are easy to get into to adjust things as you want them altho the settings out are pretty decent out of the box and the auto keystone correction and focus works great.
    Overall it's an amazing projector and such brilliant value, especially given it's small size and price. I'm chuffed with it.
