Pocbuds Review: I’ve had these for a couple days now and I’ll start by saying I got these as a promotional offer to get and use and review. Overall for the price I’ve paid I’d give them 5 stars. Quality feels good, I like that they updated the charging system from small prongs to larger tabs. Older styles of their headphones was very difficult to charge constantly without tweaking the case or headphone constantly. Or cleaning repeatedly. The case is very light feels a little flimsy but has survived a few drops already. The magnets seems to be plenty strong hoping everything in place. I’ll go by listing the cons then the pros and why I think the cons are just that and why I like the pros.
Cons: Don’t fit in my ear very well, unlike other EarPods there’s no adjustability for various ear size. Cannot use them while working as they fall out pretty easily.
Bass sound is very low. I like equal sound across all the ranges (I could do without loud highs) but the bass in these seems almost non existent.
Sound canceling is non existent and since they don’t fit solidly in my ears it’s even worse.
Pros: Battery life, So far battery life has been great! I haven’t moved the case from 100% yet In 2 days of minor wear and use.
Sound quality overall, outside of bass the sound quality is very good and crisp.
Comfortable. Although I feel like that are constantly falling out, that may be something I just need to get use to, they are very light and comfortable.
Connectivity, they connect very easily and fast.
Charging tabs, this company’s other style headphones have a pointy prong style that struggle to remain charging without tweaking and constant cleaning.
Durability, they’ve been dropped a couple times and so far not a scratch.
Overall, I would say if you like ear pods these would be great for the price.

I have been using these buds for several days and am pleasantly surprised. I honestly didn’t expect them to be as useable as they have been since I got them. Firstly, I’ve always been skeptical of earbuds that had no clips to secure them to my ears; I suspected that they would simply fall out when I was moving about. This hasn’t happened once since I’ve had them. They fit in my ears securely, but not at all uncomfortably; in fact, they’re nearly unnoticeable- except, of course, for the sound they deliver to my ears. The sound is very clear, with good volume, but not overpowering. I like this, as I use them to listen to music when I’m out walking, moving around at home, and at work. I can still hear other things, traffic, the boss(!), and other noises while listening to my music or talking on the phone. Speaking of the latter, these earbuds are also very good for holding phone conversations. I can hear callers clearly, and they tell me that they can hear me well too. Outdoors, they do pick up some wind noise, but as long as I speak in a normal, conversational voice this doesn’t detract from the conversation. The Pocbuds were shipped quickly, and arrived in a sturdy box containing the buds, the charging case, illustrated, straightforwardly legible instructions, and a USB-C cable. They were over 90% charged when they arrived and were fully charged in less than a half-hour. They powered on and paired with each other as soon as I took them out of the charging case, and it was very easy to pair them with my phone, a Google Pixel 7 Pro. The controls are very straightforward: tap the Multi-function button (MFB) on either (your choice) bud to answer a call, or double-tap to ignore a call; tap to play or pause your system’s music player. Double-tap the left MFB to skip to the previous track, Double-tap the right MFB to skip ahead to the next track. Long-press the right MFB to increase volume, and the left to decrease volume(you can also use the volume controls on your phone). Thus far the buds have discharged less than 10% of their charge during my 45 minutes-at-a-time or less of use. The Pocbuds automatically power off when placed in the charging case and begin to replenish their charge. An LED that shows through the front of the case numerically indicates the case’s charge level and vertical bars indicate the charging activity of the buds. Once the case’s power is depleted it only takes less than a couple of hours to charge back to 100%. The buds feel solid, with a smooth surface. Had I not purchased them myself I would probably presume that they cost quite a bit more than I paid for them. The case also feels very solid, seals securely, and has smooth, rounded corners. The cased buds fit comfortably in the cargo pocket of my work pants or hiking shorts, as well as in my backpack. I am very pleased with these earbuds and have no problem recommending them for consideration by anyone seeking a pair of everyday earbuds.
