In my experience, these battery types last a long time, especially for remotes, so it will be a while before I know their longevity or shelf life, but it bears noting that the package says "BEST BEFORE 2028 — 11" and I received them 2024 — 1, so the clock was already ticking on the advertised 5-year shelf life.
Exactly as described, these seem to be the battery of choice for slim remote controls. They've revitalized a couple of my remotes that needed to be aimed directly at their device due to older batteries. The only thing they're arguably missing by today's standards is the new treatment some manufacturers use to make them taste bitter — a safeguard against swallowing by children. Being in a child-free home, I'm not concerned.
If any of them fail prematurely, I'll update this review.

So I bought a 10 pack of these batteries for our car key fobs. I have had them about 3 months. I have already gone thru 2! They work for about a week then nothing! Today, just to make sure it is indeed the bad batteries, I got out my spare key fob and used it to unlock my doors. Then replaced the Working battery with a new one of these and sure enough.. NOTHING! I put the old battery back in, the it works perfectly! So these batteries are NO GOOD! I looked for an expiration date and there ISN'T one found! So I wasted $7! Now I'm off to find working batteries so I can get in my car easier than using a key!
