The controllers come with 2 AA batteries out of the box but with the docking station/charger it comes with 2AA rechargeable batteries and the attachment for the controller

    Love it. Everything fits on this charging dock perfectly. The hand controllers charge great. The VR charging port hookup stays in the VR and is a little different to remove to plug in an extra battery but that isn’t much of an issue when compared to the benefits of having this charging dock. I think the design is awesome. It makes it easy and quick for charging purposes. I had a slight issue with the VR charging but the seller quickly contacted me and resolved the issue. This seller customer service and product is outstanding. I would definitely order again. I have recommended this product to my family and others. The lights are bright and work well. Overall a great design and I give it 5 stars.

    There are a few hangups that make this nearly impossible to use. The charging cable for the headset is far too short to easily connect to the magnetic dongle you put into the charging port – it needs about an inch more slack. After the first two or three times, the handset chargers were pretty much useless. They slip right off the charging points and don't stay. They also will light up blue telling you they're charged when they're actually almost dead. We stopped using this a couple days after we bought it and it's now a very expensive nightlight.

    This device is an absolute must for any quest owner it comes with rechargable batteries for the hand controls and then has a rest support for the headset with an easy to access and plug in port to which charges that. Not to mention the absolutely amazing and customizable lights . Every part of my kids oculus fits perfectly onto this stand .     This is a fantastic add-on for my quest 3, turning it into a rechargeable/dockable item.

    The battery compartment covers simply replace the stock ones, adding charging contacts, and rechargeable batteries are also included. It’s a little stiff to get the covers on – you really need to force them/push hard. But then they fit perfectly.

    As for charging the headset – 2 small magnetic stoppers are included, with USB C ends. This just slots into the port, and allow the headset to connect to the charging base. I do wish the lead was just a fraction longer, as without the stock straps on the headset, it struggles a little to reach. A slight tilt on the headset though, and it connects fine.

    The plug is a US version. An adapter plug is included, so it’s not an issue. You can always just swap out the lead type to one that suits, such as a standard USB.

    It charges really well, and the batteries last much longer than my previous rechargeable ones. The RGB lights can be controlled by a power button and are subtle and very cool.

    I’m so, so pleased with this – it’s definitely a worthy addition to my quest 3.

    Prettiest piece of useless junk I ever bought

    The lights on the controller charging docks are supposed to show red when charging and blue when controllers are fully charged. The unit I received indicates blue lights at around 70% charge. Useless lying piece of fancy plastic junk. I'm also a bit concerned that it comes with a non BSI marked American style plug that needs to be coupled with an adaptor to work in the UK. If this device was to cause a housefire I'm pretty sure insurance wouldn't pay out because of this. I won't be using this product any longer. Waste of money. I couldn't recommend anyone to purchase this one. Additionally this is the first time I've read a product description which recommends removing and adjusting charging pins if it fails to work properly. Says alot about the sellers confidence in their own product if you ask me. 0 stars.
