It does take about 30 seconds to load up and the car radio function is disabled but you will have easy access to all carplay features as well as additional apps and features added by the box.     As far as the product itself goes, I have to say, well worth it. Sad that my bike did not support Android Auto, but did so for Apple CarPlay, After plugging in this device, taking only 2 attempts to set it up, it works fully as expected. The on thing that kept coming up in reviews was, make sure your headset is active first, and your phone is not paired to your vehicle.
    I had read many reviews of many products, I found that the CA01 was a good fit for me. After some confusion prior to purchase, and contacting a previous customer as seen on YouTube, (ITFZ). I was then given the contact details of this vendor, JQ, was a mountain of help and support. Once I had decided to purchase, JQ made sure I got the best deal, and fastest delivery. Not always easy when living in AUS, and buying from US.
    If I had to recommend any vendor for support and quick responses, these guys win every time. Now installed successfully, I will enjoy many hours of Android Auto on my bike.

    when it works its great, but……..

    I had to have a replacement 20 mins out of the box and then the replacement i received was just as junky as the previous one. It connects fine and runs great until you try to move the box to where it will be sitting. The moment that the cord is moved it disconnects and has to be wiggled around to get it to work. At this point I am over even returning it as I do not want the headache or hassle of going to ups to send it back. Bottom line is i would not recommend this to anyone that wants to have consistent connection.

    24 Harley Road Glide android auto

    At first it was hard getting the connection with the motorcycle, phone, and onnice device. But now it is connecting quicker when you just Bluetooth between onnice and phone. Do not connect to motorcycle. Also in the beginning you had to connect to a headset such as cardo or sena, but I don't know why but lately it hasn't been asking for a headset and connecting quicker. I only use it so I can get Google maps and I can listen to YouTube music all while showing on the screen.
