Honest review, this is not for 3 yr olds in my opinion.
Reasons why I bought it: my step dad just gives my son money 24/7. My son leaves the coins everywhere, and the dollars are usually in his wallet. I knew my son would play with any safe i got, so I thought this was great idea as he loves cars.
Reason for the review.
He played well with it for two hours (we searched the house for coins to collect and everything). I went to the gym for an hour and came back, and asked why my mom put up the safe as he was having fun with it. She said he broke the latch by sliding the car into the wall on accident (they were passing the car back and fourth across the floor). I told her the latch looked fine just jammed. I show how to fix this issue in the video. The fact that the latch jams on impact does not make this suitable for toddlers, but for maybe ages 5+.
Overall functionality to pay attention to, the dollars cannot be fed back to back you need to wait till after the voice over ends or or it jams. Easy fix just pull the dollar out. The feeder will not work if you have the gate open. Coin is a slot just drop it in there. The plastic is firm. Honestly if they made this remote control it would be so worth the money, but as it stands it's decent, a bit over priced
